THE SIGN OF YONAH & THE SEVENTY WEEKS OF DANIEL
Neither the Yahudim (the Jews) nor modern Christianity correctly understand “The Sign of Yonah” or “Daniel’s Seventy Weeks”. Sadly, most believers who are presently “discovering” the Hebrew roots of the one true faith have also been led astray; and therefore do not recognize the intended meaning of either prophecy or their amazing fulfillment(s). The intent of this paper is to explain the source of all the confusion for both Yahudah (The Jews) and Messianic believers in Yahoshua (Yisrael) as well as to enlighten all parties concerning the correct understanding of Daniel’s Seventy Weeks. Our brother Yahudah does not understand the seventy weeks of Daniel because previous Rabbi’s have conspired against him and have forbidden him to read and understand the prophecy of Daniel 9: 24-27.

Rabbi Samuel B. Nachmani said in the name (of) Rabbi Jonathan: ‘Blasted be the bones of those who calculate the end.’ Some of our Rabbis (in a further attempt to keep us from Daniel) even state that Daniel was wrong.
Alfred Edersheim, a Talmudic scholar who would come to know Messiah said, ‘later Rabbinism, which, naturally enough, could not find its way through the Messianic prophecies of the book, declared that even Daniel was mistaken’.
But Judaism’s greatest Rabbi, Rambam (1135 to 1204 C.E.) in his Letter to Yemen wrote, ‘we cannot assert that Daniel was wrong in his reckoning’. In the same paragraph, Rambam tells us that it was for our own good that the curse was pronounced:
‘Daniel has elucidated to us’ ‘the knowledge of the End Times. However, since they are secret, the Wise, may their memory be blessed, have barred the calculation of the days of the Messiah’s coming so that the untutored populace will not be led astray when they see that the end times have already come but there’s no sign of the Messiah. For this reason the Wise, may their memory be blessed, have decreed: “Cursed be he who calculates the End Times.” But we cannot assert that Daniel was wrong in his reckoning.’
Rambam was concerned that we would be ‘led astray’ if we figured out Daniel’s time for the coming of the Messiah. He wrote that the End Times had already come, but no Messiah.
Even Rabbi Yehuda the Prince, simply known as ‘Rabbi’ because of his written compilation of the Mishnah around 220 C.E. said of Daniel’s time frame for Messiah that, ‘These times were over long ago.’ So where is Messiah?
WHAT DOES CHRISTIANITY SAY?
Most Christians earnestly believe that the seventy weeks prophesied in Daniel 9 are either somehow directly related to the Messiah’s ministry or His death, burial and resurrection. They contend this is the reason the Rabbi’s have conspired against Yahudah to forbid them from reading and understanding the prophecy of Daniel 9. However, is that the full truth of the matter?
I think I can safely say (and prove throughout the remaining part of this study) that there is probably no more misunderstood and maligned passage of the Scriptures than Daniel 9:25-27. Here is this passage of Scripture as it is faithfully translated in the Revised Standard Version.
Daniel 9:25-27 ~ “Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off, and shall have nothing; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war; desolations are decreed. 27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause sacrifice and offering to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.” (RSV)
I purposely used this translation of these four verses because after much research and prayer, I am absolutely convinced it is the most faithful translation of these four verses.
I believe the translation found in the Moffat Bible is also worthwhile:
“Know then, understand, that between the issue of the prophetic command to re-people and rebuild Jerusalem and the consecrating of a supreme high priest, seven weeks of years shall elapse; in the course of sixty-two weeks of years it shall be rebuilt, with its squares and streets; finally, after the sixty-two weeks of years, the consecrated priest shall be cut off, leaving no successor; the city and the sanctuary shall be destroyed along with the consecrated priest, and then ruin shall pour in with a flood of warfare to the very end.” (Moffatt)
CONTEXT! CONTEXT! CONTEXT!
Over the last four centuries, many scholars (and thus, those who have been taught by them) have been deceived to believe the main focus of these verses is the coming of the Messiah or His death, burial and resurrection. Either reckoning can only be understood from the end of the sixty-nine weeks of years (i.e., 483 years total) from the time of the decree to rebuild the temple. The mental gymnastics men will willing engage in to justify this belief is simply mind-boggling. Fortunately, it is simply not necessary.
Let’s return to the Scriptures and see with our own eyes what is the exact context of this prophetic revelation?
“In the first year of his reign I, Dani’ĕl, observed from the Scriptures the number of the years, according to the word of יהוה (Yahweh) given to Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) the prophet, for the completion of the wastes of Yahrushalayim would be seventy years.” ~ Daniel 9:2
What is this Word, which Daniel was so keenly interested in understanding, which was first given to YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) the prophet? Maybe we should start our journey of discovery there.
“The word that came to YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) concerning all the people of Yahuḏah, in the fourth year of Yahoyaqim son of YoshiYahu, the sovereign of Yahuḏah, which was the first year of Neḇuḵaḏretstsar sovereign of Baḇel, which YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) the prophet spoke to all the people of Yahuḏah and to all the inhabitants of Yahrushalayim, saying,” ~ YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) 25:1-2
“Therefore thus said יהוה (Yahweh) of hosts, ‘Because you did not obey My words, see, I am sending and taking all the tribes of the north,’ declares יהוה (Yahweh), ‘and Neḇuḵaḏretstsar the sovereign of Baḇel, My servant, and shall bring them against this land and against its inhabitants, and against these nations all around, and shall put them under the ban, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and everlasting ruins. ‘And I shall banish from them the voice of rejoicing and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp. ‘And all this land shall be a ruin and a waste, and these nations shall serve the sovereign of Baḇel seventy years.” ~ YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) 25:8-11
“For thus said יהוה (Yahweh), ‘When seventy years are completed, at Baḇel I shall visit you and establish My good word toward you, to bring you back to this place.” ~ YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) 29:10
By the plain, literal understanding of both of these passages, it is obvious that Daniel understood that when the seventy years prophesied was over, then the people of Yahudah would be able to leave Babylon and return to Yahrushalayim.
Seventy years of captivity was decreed upon the people of Yahudah and seventy years of desolation was decreed upon the city of Yahrushalayim. The people and the city. This is the full context and primary focus of Daniel 9:24.
“Seventy weeks of years are decreed concerning your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.” (RSV)
Daniel would have immediately recognized that the seventy weeks prophesied were a direct inference to the seventy years (which he was presently praying about). He would have further recognized that in the same way seventy years were decreed upon the people of Yahudah and the city of Yahrushalayim by the prophet YirmeYahu (Jeremiah), that another seventy weeks of years were now being decreed upon the people of Yahudah and Yahrushalayim by the Heavenly-sent messenger, Gabriel. This would have been 100% obvious to Daniel and he would not have tried to understand this prophecy in any other way.
This plain meaning and understanding of the prophetic intent of Daniel 9 was clearly understood by most believers in Messiah Yahoshua until approximately four hundred years ago. That is when the King James translation of these Scriptures was first published. Compare the King James translation to the RSV rendering. (It is important to note I am not endorsing one translation over the other. As a matter of fact, in most instances, I believe the King James Bible is the superior English translation. However, there is no such thing as an infallible translation. Anyone who says otherwise is not being intellectually honest.) We will discuss the possible motivation of distorting these verses in the KJV translation later on in this study.
Even though the events of Daniel 10 took place many years after the events of Daniel 9, I have personally come to believe that they are intimately connected to one another by Providential arrangement. I believe Daniel was a greatly burdened man (as were most true prophets of Yahweh) who was mourning for his people and his city because of the revelation he had received in Daniel 9. This is simply my opinion and observation.
Now that we know the focus of Daniel’s revelation is the 490 years decreed upon the people of Yahudah and the city of Yahrushalayim and not the ministry or death of the Messiah, let us read with eyes anew exactly what the prophecy says. Next, let us believe in the words of the prophecy and not our previously held vain imaginations!
“Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks.”
Rather than try to add all the years together (as modern Christianity has erroneously taught us to do), why don’t we just examine the numerical sequence of the plain rendering of the text? Why is it that most people never think of doing this? Why is it we have all been brainwashed to add up all the various numbers together, rather than to ever think that they were originally revealed in a Providentially arranged and broken sequence?
The simplest answer is context, context, context!
Thirty-nine times mashiach (pronounced “mâshı̂yach”) is translated in the KJV from the original language(s). Thirty-seven times the translators chose to translate this word as “anointed”. The only two instances the translations are rendered “Messiah” is in Daniel chapter 9:25-26.
Why is this? Could it be a deliberate attempt to deceive the reader? We will examine the evidence of this possibility a little bit later in this study.
However, (whether this was done intentionally or unintentionally) we will soon discover the plain reality that if we stick with the context of this passage, it cannot possibly be speaking of ha MaShiach, (Yahoshua the Messiah). As we have already seen, the context of the other thirty-seven passages of the Scripture demand that we render a translation of “anointed” for mâshı̂yach.
For example: “Thus saith Yahweh to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;” ~ YeshaYahu (Isaiah) 45:1
Obviously, Cyrus was not Yahoshua ha MaShiach. The translators correctly translated mâshı̂yach as “anointed” because of the easily recognized context of the usage. Up until about four hundred years ago, “anointed” was easily recognized by every single translator as the correct usage by the context of its usage alone in Daniel 9:24-27. Unfortunately, due to this most grievous error in translation, most are left in bondage to a great demonic deception / delusion.
From this point in this study, I am simply going to give the correct understanding of Daniel 9:24-27 and then attach two very scholarly works to verify that everything I have stated is true.
THE FIRST ANOINTED ONE
From the time of the decree “to restore and rebuild Yahrushalayim”, an “anointed” one would be recognized as the ruler of the people in the 49th year of the prophecy. History and the Scriptures record that this prince was none other than NehemYah (Nehemiah). In the 49th year (which was also a Sabbath year), NehemYah returned to Yahrushalayim and restored the set-apartness of the seventh day Sabbath; the set-apartness of the priesthood; the financial provision for the maintenance of the temple; and the land of each clan to its rightful owners. Thus, everything was in order for the Jubilee (Yobel) of Yahweh in 374 / 373 BC.
Did you notice the prophecy doesn’t say anything at all about the temple being rebuilt? Why is it, then, that almost everyone counts their Messianic reckonings from the date of the decree to rebuild the temple? The prophecy does not concern itself with the temple whatsoever! Could it be they are doing this to make the math fit their belief system, doctrine or denominational creed?
The only part of the prophecy which concerns itself with the temple is, “and to anoint the Most Set-apart”. Every rabbinical source which I am personally aware of agrees 100% that when the 2nd temple was rebuilt, the Most Set-Apart place was never properly anointed and rededicated. The most commonly-held belief (why the most Set-Apart place was not anointed and properly dedicated) is because the Ark of the Covenant was never present in the second temple.
If this sixth part of the prophecy, which is recorded in Daniel 9:24, concerns itself with the literal 2nd temple; and not the temple “not made by human hands”, then the prophecy has, in fact, failed. This is actually one of the primary reasons why the rabbis do not believe the prophecy has been fulfilled. However, as Messianic believers, we do not have a problem because we recognize the Most Set-Apart place of the prophecy was anointed and dedicated by Heaven on Shavuot (Pentecost) A.D. 30, (1Corinthinas 3:16-17).
THE SECOND ANOINTED ONE
“Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off, and shall have nothing;”
Once again, the plain rendering of this text tells us that after another sixty-two weeks (of years) another anointed one will be cut off. Just so we will not miss the main concern of the prophetic intent of this entire passage, we are now given more additional details about the rebuilding and restoration of Yahrushalayim. Once again, it does not say anything about the reconstruction of the temple!
Now, if we simply add 434 more years to the first 49 years then we will arrive at another remarkable date in history, A.D. 62 / 63. This was the very year that Ya‘acov (“James the Just” – Yahoshua’s brother), who was the bishop of the assembly at Yahrushalayim (Acts 15:13) was assassinated by the intensely jealous temple priesthood.
The greatly corrupted temple priesthood had every reason to be jealous of Ya‘acov (James). He was the senior pastor over more than 250,000 Messianic Yahudim living in Yahrushalayim at that time.
In addition, he was held in great esteem by millions of Messianic believers all over the world. History records that he did not enrich himself as a result of his position of great influence; and thus, he left nothing behind when he was killed. Other translations read “but not for himself”. Even this variant reading is still 100% applicable to “Ya‘acov (James) the Just”; because he died as a martyr for Yahoshua ha MaShiach, and not for himself.
WHOSE PEOPLE WILL DESTROY THE CITY?
“and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war; desolations are decreed.”
Because of all the gross distortions of the different translations (as well as the vastly differing interpretations of this prophecy), most scholars try to make the prince of Daniel 9:26 the focus of their understanding. Thus, they teach this prince is the anti-Messiah of Daniel 7 and Revelation 13. As we will soon see, the prince is not the subject, but the people of the prince.
Whether you interpret this prince to be Nero Cesar, Titus, or someone else altogether is almost completely irrelevant to the correct understanding of this prophecy. The plain reality is, it was the Roman army that destroyed Yahrushalayim in A.D. 70; and that is really all we need to know for the purpose of correctly understanding the rest of the seventy week prophecy.
Note: Even though it is not the subject of this study, it is still fascinating to know that two of the Roman legions (armies) which destroyed Yahrushalayim were made up of the Yahudim hating Arabs. Perhaps this additional information helps to explain why the temple was completely destroyed against General Titus’ direct orders.
WHO MAKES COVENANT?
v.27 “And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week;”
Most believers have been brainwashed forever and a day that this prophecy concerns a certain future peace treaty the coming anti-Messiah will soon make with the nation STATE OF YISRAEL. This heretical teaching teaches that the anti-Messiah will only be recognized as the anti-Messiah because he will break this agreement after three and a half years.

How is it that believers in the Messiah of every persuasion / denomination have gotten so far off track in their understanding of this prophecy? How come almost every Messianic believer (the most notable exceptions being the Seventh Day Adventists, and the members of the Catholic Church of God (www.ccg.org) thinks it is correct to sever the seventieth week of Daniel 9 and place it sometime in the unknown future? Could it be we have all been lied to and that we are all the hapless victims of one of the greatest demonically- inspired conspiracies of all time? YES!!!
LIED TO ON PURPOSE!
To understand the motivation of this lie, we have to go back to the time of the Protestant reformation. All of the Protestant fathers unanimously agreed on (and openly preached and taught) two primary beliefs from the authority of the Scriptures alone.
The first belief was that every man was saved by Heaven’s favour alone through Scripturally-defined faith alone; and not by any good work, doctrine, or creed of any church or religion.
The second belief was that the Papacy was, in fact, the exact, detailed fulfillment of every anti-Messiah prophecy – as found in all of the Scriptures.
Because of the two-edged sword of this message, the RCC was left decimated. Over half of its adherents had left the church in less than 50 years’ time. At this incredible rate of decline, the Pontiff, the Roman Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church knew that its time would soon be over and gone. It was out of this very crisis that “The Council of Trent” was born. This council would meet over the next 18 years for the purpose of defeating the Protestants – or much more accurately, the Protestant message.
The Vatican knew they could not defeat Protestantism directly. So, instead they would have to mount a very cleverly-devised and implemented indirect assault. Ultimately, they would succeed at doing this, by offering “Christianity” masterfully disguised counter-interpretations to the prophetic Scriptures – especially Daniel 9:24-27. The Jesuit priesthood would eventually and successfully integrate them into every Protestant, Baptist, and Christian seminary in the entire world.

Now back to the original (as of yet, unanswered) question, “Who makes covenant?”
Daniel 9:5 tells us the answer. Are you ready to be completely blown away?
“And I prayed unto Yahweh my Elohim, and made my confession, and said, O Yahweh, the great and dreadful El, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep His commandments;”
Yahweh! The answer is Yahweh! Yahweh makes, confirms, and strengthens, His covenant with His people! All three of these terms are used by most of the English translations of Daniel 9:27 in circulation today.
Q. Why would Yahweh confirm His covenant for exactly seven years, at the time directly subsequent to Ya‘acov’s (James’) death?
A. It is because His covenant (which is found in His Torah) has two sovereignly- ordained purposes, which He has ordained from the beginning. The first purpose of His covenant is to bless all those who will listen to and obey His Torah with His provision and protection. The second purpose of His covenant is to curse all those who will not listen to and obey His Torah by withdrawing His hand of provision and protection.
In A.D. 62 / 63 Yahweh confirmed His covenant to perform both of these purposes by the time the 70 weeks of Daniel culminated in A.D. 70.
“and for half of the week he shall cause sacrifice and offering to cease;”
Right in the midst of the last seven years, Yahweh made all sacrifices and offerings to cease for all Messianic Yahudim as well as greater Messianic Yisrael; thus strengthening the covenant He had made with them by the Name and shed blood of Yahoshua.
How did He do this, exactly? We find our answer in Luke 21.
“And when you see Yahrushalayim surrounded by armies, then know that its laying waste is near. “Then let those in Yahuḏah flee to the mountains, and let those who are in the midst of her go out, and let not those who are in the fields enter her. “Because these are days of vengeance, to fill all that have been written. “And woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing children in those days! For there shall be great distress in the earth and wrath upon this people. “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Yahrushalayim shall be trampled underfoot by the gentiles until the times of the gentiles are filled.” ~ Luke 21:20-24
Immediately after Ya‘acov was killed, the Roman general Vespasian besieged the city of Yahrushalayim with the armies under his command. His siege of the city would continue until A.D. 66. History and NASA space scientists both record numerous signs, prodigies, and portents are seen in the land of Yahudah at the outset of the rebellion in A.D. 66. Included in those recorded by Josephus, armed hosts and chariots in the clouds are seen flying over the land of Yahudah; a light at night makes the temple appear as though it were on fire and Haley’s Comet is recorded as appearing as a sword of judgment as it flies over the region. NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory says that the closest approach of the comet that year was in March, immediately prior to the Yahudim revolt in A.D. 66.
History records that the Roman Procurator Florus demanded 17 talents from the Temple treasury. This was the triggering insult for the Yahudim to begin their revolt. The Roman garrison in Yahrushalayim was overrun by rebels who took control of the city. The rebels cause cessation of all sacrifices to the Roman Emperor; thus challenging Rome head-on. Florus cannot handle the situation; so the (Roman) Syrian Governor, Cestius Gallus, is called in to subdue the rebellion. He attacks Yahrushalayim, gets up to the walls of the city; then unexpectedly withdraws, suffering heavy losses in retreat. All of this uprisal, conflict and the ensuing Roman retreat is recorded as ending in September A.D. 66.
This is absolutely amazing! This is exactly half-way between the time when Rome besieged Yahrushalayim in A.D. 63 and the second siege of Yahrushalayim – which began in March of A.D. 70. This is exactly what was foretold in Daniel 9:27. All those who believed in Yahoshua by favour, through faith, regarded His words – as recorded in Luke 21:20-24. They left Yahrushalayim and fled to the mountains as one man. They would never return to Yahrushalayim!
Thus, Yahweh caused “sacrifice and offering to cease” for a full three and one half years for all of His people who were redeemed by the name and shed blood of Yahoshua, just as the prophecy foretold!
Most scholars agree that it was right around this time that the Pharisee (Acts 23:6) Shaul (the apostle Paul) wrote the scroll of Ibrim (Hebrews). He wrote this letter to encourage all the Messianic Yahudim that they did not need Temple service to accentuate the finished work of Yahoshua in their lives. Shaul’s words were of great comfort to all the Messianic Yahudim, as well as to greater Messianic Yisrael. They knew by the word of Yahoshua that they could never return to the land of Yahudah.
At the exact same time, Yahweh confirmed His covenant for good to all those who professed Yahoshua as their Master and Messiah. He also watched over His covenant for evil to all those who rejected Yahoshua as their Messiah. The people of Yahudah had crucified their Groom of betrothal; thus nullifying their covenant with Him (Romans 7:1-3). They compounded this error by cursing themselves and their children forever (Matt 27:25).
According to the Torah, this covenant of death is binding. Yahudah’s Groom, Yahoshua, kept silent and did not nullify it in the day that He heard it (Bemidbar (Numbers) 30:10-11).
Yahoshua told Yahudah He would only give them one sign that He was their Messiah, which was “the sign of Yonah”. The people of Nineveh were given exactly 40 days to repent of their sin. By correctly applying the day / year principle, Yahudah was given exactly forty years to repent. “The sign of Yonah” was fulfilled when every non-believer in Yahoshua ha MaShiach was judged guilty at the Pesach celebration in A.D. 70.
The Roman General Titus shrewdly let all the Yahudim into the city for their Pesach celebration. Once the city was completely filled with a multitude of celebrants, he ordered the gates shut and the city besieged. More than 1,000,000 men, women and children would be murdered during this siege. In addition, the temple would be completely destroyed and the city would be left in ruins.

The historian Josephus tells us that during this siege, over 500 Yahudim were crucified by Roman soldiers every day. The only reason this barbarous practice came to an end was because they ran out of wood. In the exact same way that the black widow had her Groom of betrothal put to death, she was likewise put to death. Covenants of death will always return to the place of origination, and they will always manifest in the same / similar way they were originally established.
“The sign of Yonah” and the seventy weeks of Daniel are mutually exclusive and independent signs that Yahweh watches over His Word to perform it! Both prophecies were fulfilled in the destruction of the people of Yahudah and the city of Yahrushalayim. The completion of “the seventy weeks of Daniel” bears witness to the fulfillment of “the sign of Yonah” and vice versa.
It is very interesting to note: On the morning of the first of Aviv, the Pesach season of A.D. 70 began with a full solar eclipse over Yahrushalayim. The ancient sages taught that a solar eclipse portended evil for the entire world. I do not think I would get much argument that the world has witnessed great evil from A.D. 70 until the present. I believe it could be very effectively argued that it was this very event that was indirectly responsible for the dark / middle ages of history.There are a few Yahudim scholars who purport the temple was destroyed in A.D. 68 and not A.D. 70.Obviously, those who hold to the A.D. 68 destruction date have never heard of the “Seder Olam”. In addition, Josephus records that on the 9thof Av A.D. 71 (exactly one year later), the Roman army returned to Yahrushalayim and plowed under all the land of Yahudea with salt. The “Seder Olam” is an important (but certainly not infallible) witness concerning ancient chronology. It is also called by the title of “the Large Chronicle of the World”; and it is an ancient Yahudim Talmudic study of world chronology as seen through the eyes of the Yahudim.The Seder Olam is the key to determining what year the temple was destroyed as well as which year in the Sabbatical year cycles this event is recorded as transpiring.
To answer the question of the year the temple was destroyed, it is necessary to examine the relevant passage in SO [Seder Olam] 30 with some care.Here is Guggenheimer’s translation:
“R. Yose says: A day of rewards attracts rewards and a day of guilt attracts guilt. You find it said that the destruction of the First Temple was at the end of Sabbath, at the end of a Sabbatical year, when the priests of the family of Yehoiariv was [sic] officiating, on the Ninth of Ab, and the same happened the second time.”
Wacholder translated this same passage as follows:“Rabbi Jose says: ‘Favorable judgment forbode favorable days and guilty judgments guilty days. You find it said: When the Temple was destroyed for the first time, that happened on a day after the Sabbath (Sunday), during a post-Sabbatical year, and during the Watch of Jehoiarib, and on the ninth of Ab; and so also when the Second (Temple was destroyed).’”
NOTE: The 9th of Av 3828 (AD 68) is on a Tuesday by the Hillel calendar reckoning and it is on a Thursday by the first light of the moon, making it impossible that the temple could have been destroyed in A.D. 68.
The above contradicting translations tell us that on the 9th of Av in the year in which the temple was destroyed, fell on either a Sabbath or the day after the Sabbath.
In A.D. 70, the 9th of Av falls on a Sabbath day by the concealed moon calendar. The 9th of Av falls on a Sunday by the sighting of the crescent moon (or one day after the Sabbath) i.e., the first day of the week.
In 587 B.C. (3174 ~ Hillel), the 9th of Av falls on a Sabbath day by the concealed moon calendar. It falls on a Sunday, by the 1st light of the moon.
Personally, I hold to Guggenheimer’s translation; and I have every reason to believe that A.D. 70 was, in fact, a Sabbath year. From all the research I have done previously, which of course, I believe to be true, 374 / 373 B.C. would have been a Jubilee year. A.D. 27 / 28 would have also been a Jubilee year, as well as A.D. 77 / 78. I am fairly certain that I can circumstantially prove, beyond all reasonable doubt, that the Yahudim kept the calendar by the concealed moon up until the second temple was destroyed.

If A.D. 77 / 78 is indeed the year of Jubilee, then A.D. 76 / 77 would be a Sabbath year. This would mean that A.D. 69 / 70 was, in fact, a Sabbath year. If 374 / 373 B.C. was, in fact, a Jubilee year; then 574 / 573 B.C. would also be a Jubilee year. The year of Jubilee falls every 50th year (Way yiqra / Leviticus 25:10). This reckoning would mean 575 / 574 B.C. would be a Sabbath year. The next two previous Sabbath years would fall from 582 / 581 B.C. and then 588 / 587 B.C. For those who do not know, the first temple is recorded as being destroyed on the 9th of Av in 587 B.C.
How could Rabbi Jose possibly have known that both temples were destroyed on the very same day of the week, 655 years apart, in a Sabbath year? They did not have the ability we have today to mathematically verify and ascertain this information by the click of the mouse. If he was lying (or if he was guessing), we would be able to easily prove him wrong.
Whether you agree with my position or not, according to archaeological science, A.D. 68 is not recognized as a Sabbath year; nor is it after a Sabbath year. Also, the 9th of Av does not fall on a Sabbath or the day after a Sabbath, by any reckoning of the first of the month – whether by the concealed moon calendar or by the first light of the crescent moon.
Not only does A.D. 68 not agree with this historian’s reckoning in the Seder Olam, it also does not agree with any of the known Sabbath years before or after this year (which all agree with each other in the seven-year sequence). How come neither the days nor the years agree with the year A.D. 68 as being the year the temple at Yahrushalayim was destroyed? As a side note, the discerning mind can easily recognize this historical data easily disproves any notion of a lunar Sabbath. All such thinking is, in all reality, lunacy!
I triple-checked the above information against three independent sources, just to be absolutely sure this information is correct. I encourage you to please verify this information for yourself. I prefer the three calendar search engines linked below, for conducting any independent date research.

DANIEL’S SEVENTY WEEKS ~ THE REVELATION LEVEL
The Drash (hidden / revelation) level of the seventy weeks of Daniel is found in the understanding that the word translated weeks is “Shavua”. This is the exact same Word from which we get the word translated as our annual “First Fruits Feast” of “Shavuot” (Pentecost). Could it be possible that the hidden level of this prophecy began in 1947 with the decree that Yahudah would be a people, dwelling in their own land yet again? Seventy annual feasts of Shavuot will end in 2017. Could it be just a coincidence that all “The Numerical Patterns and Themes of Scripture” also point to the end of this present age as beginning in 2017?
Could it be that David Ben Gurion, the first prime minister of the nation STATE OF YISRAEL (1948 – 1954), is the first “anointed” one at the Drash / revelation level of understanding? The first seven years of this seventy-year prophecy, sure seems to fit like a glove. Just like NehemYah in “The Scriptures”, David Ben Gurion was very instrumental in rebuilding and restoring Yahudah. David Ben Gurion is called “the founding father of modern day Yisrael”.
In addition, in the first prophetic picture, NehemYah left Yahrushalayim to report to the king and then he returned again for the seventh week (or the 49th year) of the prophecy to be fulfilled. From this time forward, he remained as the anointed prince of the land of Yahudea. In an eerily similar fashion, David Ben Gurion left his position of prime minister in the sixth year; and then he returned and became the prime minister again in exactly the seventh year. He remained in service as prime minister for another eight years.
Who might the second “anointed” one be, at the Drash level of this prophecy? The one “who will be cut off” and “have nothing”, “but not for himself” after sixty-two more Shavuot? I personally believe it is none other than the anointed bride of the Messiah. Only time will tell for sure. Later on in this study I will explain why I believe this to be true, and you can make up your own mind whether or not you agree.
THE SIXTH SEAL IS BROKEN
Since 2003, I have believed that it is possible that “The Star of Bethlehem” would appear again just prior to Yahoshua’s second coming. Until recently, I did not know how to go about confirming this to be true. Only now, due to widely-spread information which is easily accessible via the internet, I have confirmed this theory is 100% accurate. “The Star of Bethlehem” will appear once again in the constellation of Virgo, just 5 days before “The Feast of the Trumpets of Yahweh” 2016 (5777 on the Hillel Calendar)!
Below is some of the astronomical activity between the years 2014-2017, which I believe is extremely significant to us today.
2014
A Total Lunar Eclipse (The Moon Will Turn to Blood) will occur on April 15th – the 1st High Sabbath of Unleavened Bread.
A Total Lunar Eclipse (The Moon Will Turn to Blood Again) will occur October 8th – the 1st High Sabbath of Sukkot.
2015
A Total Solar Eclipse (The Sun Will Turn Dark) will occur on March 20th – the 1st day of Aviv. This is the first day of the year on Yahweh’s moadim (set-apart feasts) calendar.
Thus fulfilling the prophecy spoken of by Yoel,
A Partial Lunar Eclipse (The Moon Will Turn to Blood A Third Time) will occur on April 4th – the 1st High Sabbath of Unleavened Bread.

“and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.” ~ Every year, the Feast of Yom Teruah, (The Feast of the Trumpets), falls on the first day of the new month. It is on this one particular day that the moon comes into conjunction and its light is not visible from the earth.

“The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.” ~ Yoel 3:15
Just like YeshaYahu 13:9-10 fits exactly on Yom Teruah 2015; MattithYahu 24:29, Mark 13:23-24, and Yoel 3:15 will fit exactly, like a glove, on Yom Teruah 2016!

On August 5th, Venus and Regulus will come into conjunction 1.0 N.
On August 27th, Venus and Jupiter will come into conjunction. (Some say this is “The Star of Bethlehem”. I happen to strongly agree.) This conjunction will happen in the constellation of Virgo when then the Sun is in the midst of the constellation of Leo. This sign in the heavens will happen just 5 days before Yom Teruah (The Feast of the Trumpets), 2016.

As you can see in the above presentation, in the year Yahoshua was born, the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter happened twice in the constellation of Leo. This time it will only happen once in the constellation of Virgo. Why is this coming astronomical event going to happen in the Virgo constellation and not in Leo? I believe it is because this sign is signifying Yahoshua’s return for His betrothed virgin bride of covenant.
Why is this coming heavenly sign only going to appear once and not twice? I believe this is because the first time the star appeared was to signify to the wise Magi when to begin their journey. The star appeared a second time to signify where their journey should conclude. The next time this star will appear, it will signify to the five wise virgins to be fully ready with their lamps trimmed and full of oil for their Savior’s / Groom’s appearing.
In addition, Jupiter (the king planet) came into conjunction or near conjunction with the star Regulus (the royal star) three different times in the Hebrew civil calendar year (from Yom Teruah to Yom Teruah) when Yahoshua was born. In a very similar fashion, the planet Venus (the bright and morning star) will also come into conjunction (or very near conjunction) three different times with this same star – directly proceeding and then culminating on Yom Teruah 2017. I personally think that these two different celestial events are both directly and closely related to one another.
I also believe it is very possible that either one of these celestial events (or even both of these events) could very well be the “sign of the Son of Man” foretold by Yahoshua.
“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” ~ MattithYahu 24:30-31
2017
A Total Solar Eclipse (The Sun Will Turn Dark) on the first day of Elul – August 21st, 2017, there will be another annual solar eclipse.
Traditionally, the Yahudim sages have taught that a lunar eclipse could mean trouble for Yahrushalayim and that a solar eclipse could mean trouble for the whole world. In light of the coming tribulation (which I believe is directly ahead of us), I would say they are absolutely correct.
The month of Elul is the last month of the Hebrew civil year. Traditionally, this month is a month of repentance for the Yahudim in preparation for the Day of Judgment – which is known as Rosh Hashanah, Yom Teruah, or the Feast of the Trumpets. I have come to believe there will be world-wide repentance during this month like never before; and that is why many will believe in Yahoshua (whom they have pierced) upon His return.
On September 20th, Venus and Regulus will come into conjunction 0.4 N. This third conjunction is going to happen at exactly 5:42 a.m., Yahrushalayim time, on the eve of Yom Teruah 2017. This conjunction is wonderfully illustrated in the link provided below. Please study this illustration carefully and understand its brilliant significance.

On July 25th, Mercury and Regulus will come into conjunction 0.8 S.
It is very interesting to note that I have recently been told (in the ancient understanding of the Mazzaroth) that Venus (The Bright and Morning Star ~ Rev. 22:16) is said to ride a white horse (Rev. 19:11). The last time Venus started its full trajectory was in March 2009; and it will end in March 2017, exactly eight years later. Of course, I am not saying Yahoshua is a planet. I am only sharing what I have just recently learned is represented in the original understanding of the Mazzaroth.
All of the signs and wonders in Revelation are found exactly as described in the constellations; e.g., on Sept. 11th, 3 BC, the heavens declared the exact picture described in Rev 12:1-2. Yahoshua would be born shortly afterward (on the first day of the Feast of Sukkot); thus fulfilling the prophecy, “Emmanuel, Elohim dwells with us!”
I have recently become fully persuaded that Yehezkel’s wheel within a wheel is the ancient Hebrew Mazzaroth; i.e., the Zodiac. Each house of the twelve major constellations spans a time frame of exactly 2,160 years. These individual houses are the wheel within the greater wheel of all twelve houses. Yehezkel was a contemporary of Daniel’s. I fully believe what was sealed up in Daniel 12 is the correct ancient knowledge of Heaven’s original intent when the Mazzaroth was first created. What was the original intent of the Zodiac? King David tells us rather plainly. Will we choose to believe the Scriptures in their plainest understanding?
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. ~ “The heavens declare the esteem of Elohim; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.” (Mismore (Psalm) 19:1-3)
I am just as firmly convinced that the breaking of the seals by Yahoshua is the opening up of the correct understanding of the original intent of the Mazzaroth, once again. Much of the Revelation received by Yahonan is perfectly understood in light of the ancient Hebrew Mazzaroth’s original meaning and understanding. For example, in Revelation chapter six, verses twelve through fourteen, we read:
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;”
This will literally happen in the heavenlies in 2014 and 2015. We should expect a most powerful earthquake to manifest during this time.
“And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.”
This happens every year around the month of September. At this time, most of the constellations are no longer visible above the horizon over Yahrushalayim.
“And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;”
The current Mazzaroth (Zodiac) house of 2,160 years is presently coming to an end, and the new Mazzaroth house is just now beginning. Remember, David compared the heavenly constellations to the Torah scroll when he was inspired to write Mismore (Psalm) 19.
“and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
This will most likely be as a direct result of a very great earthquake.
For the first time, I believe I correctly understand how all of this agrees with the full witness of the Scriptures. I will explain to you my understanding and all I ask you to do is pray about it and search “The Word” and let the Spirit bear witness. In the end, this is what really matters.
Yahoshua is coming for His bride on Yom Teruah, “The Feast of Trumpets”, 2016! (1Corinthians 15:51-57)
According to Yahoshua, if the great tribulation were to last for one more year, then there would not be a bride to rapture nor those who will believe on Him upon His return.
“And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
Only the betrothed bride who guards the covenant of the Groom; i.e., His Torah (the instructions for the bride) will meet Him in the air at this time. According to the picture of ancient wedding covenant, the Groom will take His bride back to the place prepared for her in His Father’s house. (Yahonan 14:2-3) At this time, there will definitely be a consummation of our marriage. (Revelation 7:9-17)
Personally, I think it is very probable that the wedding feast will not happen until after the bride returns with the Groom. I am basing this opinion on the MattithYahu 22 parable. The reason I am not 100% certain at this present time is because I do not know who the guests will be at the wedding, at the revelation level of the parable. It makes perfect since to me that the guests are those who remain in this present world after the Messiah returns with His bride, and then believe on Him at His return. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
According to the Torah for the Groom, Yahoshua cannot go to make war the entire first year of His marriage, nor tend to any other business.
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 24:5 ~ “When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.”
Exactly one year later, on Yom Teruah (the Feast of Trumpets) the Groom will return with the bride following after Him to make war with the world and to pour out His wrath! Will this fulfill the passages in Joel 2:1-11, Revelation 19:11-21 and Yehezkel 39?
At this time, the wheat will be severed from the tares – as spoken of in the parable found in MattithYahu 13. Neither 2016 / 2017 nor 2017 / 2018 are a Sabbath year, or a Jubilee year, on the Jubilee Calendar of redemption. However, Yom Kippur 2017 will begin the year of Jubilee from the time the land of Yahrushalayim was returned to Yahudah in 1967 – 2017. It will also be a type and shadow fulfillment of much of the significance of the Jubilee for the bride, as the bride receives her inheritance – her husband. In addition, it will also be a type and shadow fulfillment of much of the significance of the Sabbath year for the bride; as the bride rests in Messiah, Yahoshua.
Only in a Sabbath year or a Jubilee year would the wheat harvest (from Shavuot / Pentecost) remain standing in the fields until the fall. Many, many believers in the Messiah (who are not the betrothed bride who carefully guards the covenant) are going to be perplexed and mystified why they have been left behind in the earth; while some of those they know and love have gone completely missing.
All those who will believe on Him at His return are the wheat that grows of itself! i.e., No one will be here to witness to them, pray with them, baptize them, or disciple them. From the first day of Elul 2017 until Yom Teruah (thirty days later), these people will be fervently repenting in great humility, by faith – not knowing if they are being heard or not. All those who repent during this time will be miraculously saved on the day of Yahoshua’s return with His bride.
The year of Yahoshua’s return to Judge in righteousness and to establish His kingdom, is a non-Sabbath / non-Jubilee year; and that is why He can lawfully harvest the world at this time.
Listen very carefully to the Word of Yahweh by the mouth of the prophet YeshaYahu (Isaiah), as he foretells with stunning pin-point accuracy the astronomically correct details of this day:
Howl ye; for the day of Yahweh is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. v.7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt: v.8And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. v.9 Behold, the day of Yahweh cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. v.10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: (The light of the stars that make up the constellations fall beneath the horizon at the end of every harvest season and are no longer visible from Yahrushalayim.), the sun shall be darkened in his going forth (The sun will be darkened just after sunrise; and in mid-morning, respectively; by partial eclipses in both 2015 & 2016 on Yom Teruah. However, it is also possible that the people of the earth will not be able to see the sun at all on Yom Teruah 2017, as the brilliance of it will be completely swallowed up in the brilliance of the appearing of Yahoshua in all of His esteem, when He returns), and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. (The moon does not ever give its light on Yom Teruah because all the new moons of Yahweh only happen when the moon is concealed by the conjunction of the earth with the sun.) ~ YeshaYahu (Isaiah) 13:6-10

It is very important to note the Messiah’s exact words concerning some of these signs.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:” ~ MattithYahu (Matthew) 24:29
This will be literally fulfilled on Yom Teruah 2016!
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,” ~ Mark 13:24
Again, this will be literally fulfilled on Yom Teruah 2016!
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; v.26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. v.27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great magnificence.” ~ Luke 21:25-27
All of the signs foretold by the prophets of old will appear in the heavens between 2014 -2017, culminating on Yom Teruah 2017.
If we are expected to take our Messiah literally, then we should expect the great tribulation will begin 1260 days before “the Feast of the Trumpets” 2016. Counting backwards from Yom Teruah or “The Feast of Trumpet” 2016 1,260 days (Daniel 12:7), we would land on Friday, March 22nd, 2013. This is the first day of spring / summer in Yahrushalayim and it is also the not a Sabbath day, of any kind, thus fulfilling the words of our Messiah as found in MattithYahu (Matthew) 24:20.
“But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:”
Exactly 1,290 days previous to Yom Teruah 2016 (Daniel 12:11) is the three day fast for Yom Purim (February 21st – 22nd) 2013, which originated during the reign of Queen Esther. This is the same time when the Yahudim all over the world were ordered to be exterminated by their enemies; however, Yahweh turned it all around and gave them a mighty victory over their enemies through a second decree that went out into all the land due to the intercession of Queen Esther. These events did not transpire until after Daniel died. No wonder the true understanding of the numbering of these 1,290 days was hidden from Daniel! I personally believe these events are soon going to repeat themselves yet again. I have written more concerning this very event toward the end of this study.
Moreover, it is more than a little interesting that when you count 1,150 days; i.e., the time period covering 2300 evening and morning sacrifices (Daniel 8:14), previous to Yom Teruah 2016, you will land on the first day of Ramadan, July 9th 2013.
Now that we have all of this recently ascertained information, we can assert and take an educated guess that the great tribulation is most likely going to start on March 22nd 2013. In addition, we can know that the rapture of the bride is most likely going to happen on Yom Teruah 2016 exactly 1,260 days later. As it turns out – everyone heretofore has been partly right and mostly wrong when it comes to understanding the sequence of end-time events and the timing of the return of our Messiah.
Author’s Note: Nowhere in the Scriptures does it explicitly foretell a time period of seven years of tribulation. You can search high and you can search low and you will not find it. The only way theologians can come up with this period of seven years is either by severing the seventieth week of Daniel and moving it to the future or by adding to time periods of three and a half years together.
It is the bride (who is the anointed one) who is going to be cut off in the 69th year (but not for herself), and will have nothing. The bride is going to be cut off for Yahoshua, her Groom; and she will leave behind everything in this world in order to gain Messiah Yahoshua.
In ancient Hebrew wedding customs, the groom would go away for a year to two years, (in order to prepare a place for His bride as an addition to His father’s house). When the wedding chamber was all prepared, then the groom’s father would tell his son to go and fetch his bride.
At this time, the groom would fetch the bride and then bring her back to the prepared wedding chamber where they would then consummate their union. Afterward, the groom and the bride would feast and celebrate their union for seven days. The Torah tells us that for one year the groom is to honeymoon with his bride. He is not to go to war and he is not to tend to any other business. His only responsibility is to make his bride happy. (Debarim 24:5)
“When a man has taken a new wife, let him not go out into the army nor let any matter be imposed upon him. He shall be exempt one year for the sake of his home, to rejoice with his wife whom he has taken.”
This is an exact picture of what is going to happen when our Groom Yahoshua comes for His bride. Our groom has gone away into Heaven for almost 2,000 years. Furthermore, He has prepared a place for us to come and be where He is. (Yahonan 14:2-3) He is coming to take His bride back to the wedding chamber He has prepared for her. (1Cor 15:50-58 & Rev 19:6-9) The Groom and the bride will honeymoon in Heaven for one year according to His Torah. If the bride is raptured on Yom Teruah, (Thursday September 1st),2016, then she will probably consummate with her Groom on Yom Kippur (On the Sabbath, September 10th).
After a one-year honeymoon, the bride is going to follow her Groom back to the Earth to make war against the Groom’s enemies alongside the Groom. (Revelation 19:11-16) This is a fulfillment of the ancient Hebrew wedding picture for woman / wife, which is that of a mighty warrior. It will probably be at this time the bowls of the wrath of Yahweh will finally be poured out upon all the earth. Now we will look at Daniel 9:27 one last time to see how this most exciting drama concludes.
WHO IS THE BRIDE OF YAHOSHUA?
Despite all of the hype, hoopla, and confusion; over the last two thousand years the bride is plainly identified in the Scriptures – and there is only one bride. Our Messiah is not a bigamist, or a polygamist, as supposed and taught by many in the churches. Hear and believe the Word of Yahweh!
“And I will betroth thee unto me forever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in loving kindness, and in mercies. v.20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know Yahweh. v.21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith Yahweh, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; v.22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. v.23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my Elohim.” ~ Hoshea 2:19-23
The entire letter of Hoshea was written to the ten tribes of Northern Yisrael. Only these ten tribes are the bride of the Messiah, forever. Why is this? The prophet YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) told us how these ten tribes were divorced by Yahweh, a certificate of divorce was put into their hands, and they were subsequently sent out of the land and not allowed to return. (YirmeYahu (Jeremiah) 3)
However, Yahweh made a way, as foretold by Hoshea almost eight hundred years before hand; that Yisrael would once again be the bride of Messiah by favour through faith. This is primarily what the entire Torah commentary by the great Pharisee Shaul (Acts 23:6) is teaching us in Romans chapters 7-11. Everyone who has trusted in Yahoshua as their personal Master and Savior is the bride of the Heavenly Groom.
They are the wild “olive” branches grafted into the “olive” tree. The “olive” tree is Yisrael! (Hoshea 14:6)
I cannot say it any louder and plainer than the Scriptures have already declared it. The ten tribes of Northern Yisrael is the only bride of Messiah. It does not matter what we believe – it only matters what is plainly declared by the Scriptures. It does not matter who you are or what your ethnic heritage is. If you have received the Messiah Yahoshua by His favour through faith, then you are Yisrael, the bride! I have previously written extensively about this topic. HOW COME YAHUDAH IS NOT THE BRIDE?
Remember? The people of Yahudah had crucified their Groom of betrothal; thus nullifying their covenant with Him (Romans 7:1-3). They compounded this error by cursing themselves and their children forever. (MattithYahu (Matthew) 27:25)
According to the Torah, this covenant of death is binding because Yahudah’s Groom, Yahoshua, kept silent and did not nullify it in the day He heard it. (Bemidbar (Numbers) 30:10-11) Yahoshua told Yahudah that He would only give them one sign that He was their Messiah and that was “the sign of Yonah”. The people of Nineveh were given exactly 40 days to repent of their sin. By correctly applying the day / year principle, Yahudah was given exactly forty years to repent of theirs. The sign of Yonah was fulfilled, when every non-believer in Yahoshua ha MaShiach went to the Pesach celebration in A.D. 70.
THE FINAL WEEK / THE LAST SEVEN YEARS
v.27 “And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause sacrifice and offering to cease;”
If everything on the revelation level is supposed to be understood exactly as it was first revealed on the prophetic level, then from Yom Teruah 2010 – Yom Teruah 2017 will prove to be the seven years that Yahweh is once again confirming His covenant.
Counting backwards 1,260 days from Yom Teruah, (September 21st), 2017 we land on a very interesting date. April 10th 2014 is also the 10th day of Aviv! This is the very day that Yahweh commanded the whole house of Yisrael to select a lamb (without blemish or defect) for the annual Passover. (Shemoth / Exodus 12:3-5)
If my understanding is correct, I believe this is the exact date spoken of in Revelation 9:20-21. From this day until Yom Teruah 2017 no one will be able to fully repent of their sins and call on the name of Yahoshua and know the eternal full favour of the Groom. I.e. The bridal party will be closed. All those who have not received Yahoshua, the lamb without blemish or defect, will have their opportunity to freely do so taken away on this date.
“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
THE GRAND FINALE
“and upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”
Question: What is an abomination to Yahweh?
Answer: Whatever He says is an abomination according to His Torah!
All of the righteous Torah-pursuant Yahudim (Acts 21:20) had left Yahrushalayim in September / October AD 66. The only Yahudim who continued on in Yahrushalayim were those who rejected Yahoshua as their Messiah and their Groom of betrothal. Is there really any greater abomination than to reject Yahoshua and blaspheme the Set-Apart Spirit?
History records that the Temple at Yahrushalayim became completely and totally corrupted from the time the priests killed Ya‘acob (James) in A.D. 62 / 63 until its final destruction. In their zeal to keep up their religious charade, they even conducted Temple service(s) unto Cesar. This “covenant with death” was the ultimate, abominable compromise in the eyes of Yahweh.
When our worship is not in Spirit and in Truth, Yahweh calls it an abomination and He hates it! He makes this perfectly clear all throughout His Torah; and Yahoshua echoed this refrain when He spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well.
“Yahoshua said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you shall neither on this mountain, nor in Yahrushalayim, worship the Father. “You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because the deliverance is of the Yahuḏim.1(Footnote: 1Ps. 147:19, Isa. 2:3, Isa. 14:1, Isa. 56:6-8, Ezek. 47:22-23, Zech. 2:10-11, Zech. 8:23, Rom. 2:20, Rom. 3:2, Rom. 9:4, Rev. 21:12 & 24.) “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him.” ~ Yahonan (John) 4:21-23
I have previously written extensively and in laborious detail about how much Yahweh hates to be worshipped falsely! He could not have possibly made it any clearer and plainer. If you are interested in this study, I have provided the link for your convenience.
Finally, “the wing of abominations” seems to be indicating the time period that leads up to and concludes in A.D. 73, from A.D. 70. This would cover the time period of Yahudah’s last stand, and subsequent destruction, at Masada. The Roman army made desolate all those who made themselves desolate because they rejected Yahoshua ha MaShiach. They refused to repent and be baptized in His name and by His blood.
I believe this represents the drash / revelation picture best of all. Only after the bride of Yahweh meets their Groom in the air will Yahweh pour out His bowls of wrath upon the desolate. These are those who made themselves desolate by refusing to repent in the Name and by the blood of Yahoshua.
The rebellious defiance of Yahudah at Masada is a type / shadow picture of what is revealed in Yehezkel 39 & Revelation 19 after Yahoshua returns for His own. In their final act of pre-millennial defiance, the nations will rebel and make war with Yahoshua and His people of covenant who are dwelling safely in the land.
WHAT ABOUT THE WHEAT AND THE TARES?
I have come to believe this prophecy also has a prophetic and revelation fulfillment. The first is the lesser fulfillment (which happened in AD 66); and the second is the greater fulfillment, which will happen in AD 2017.
Hear the Word of our Messiah!
“And He answering, said to them, “He who is sowing the good seed is the Son of Aḏam, and the field is the world. And the good seed, these are the sons of the reign, but the darnel are the sons of the wicked one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. And the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the messengers. “As the darnel, then, is gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be at the end of this age. “The Son of Aḏam shall send out His messengers, and they shall gather out of His reign all the stumbling-blocks, and those doing lawlessness, and shall throw them into the furnace of fire – there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. “Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the reign of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” ~ MattithYahu (Matthew) 13:36-43
In a type and shadow of a future fulfillment, I have come to believe that the Roman armies were the tares which were removed out of the way first in AD 66, so that the wheat (Yahudim believers in Yahoshua) may flee Yahrushalayim immediately afterward.
If the words of our Messiah were to be taken literally, then I believe when He returns on Yom Teruah 2017, the tares Yahoshua spoke of are in fact the Nephillim race. Very strong and overwhelming evidence from the Scriptures and from the media elite seems to indicate the Nephillim race has been repopulating this world since at least 1947 at the dawn of the computer age.
WHO ARE THE NEPHILLIM?
The first time we hear of the Nephillim race is in Bereshith (Genesis) 6. We are told that some of the fallen messengers (angels) had sexual intercourse with the daughters of men in the days of Noah. They produced an alien hybrid race of half men / half messenger. These hybrids were the Nephillim race. This race of half-breeds is spoken of consistently in the Scriptures until the last of their kind were killed in the days of King David.
King David famously killed Goliath of Gath; but what is not so well-known is that his four brothers were also killed during King David’s reign. This ended the error / era of the Nephillim race for almost 3,000 years.

I am absolutely convinced that the tares (which will be uprooted when Yahoshua returns) are the resurgence of the Nephillim race. If this prophecy is meant to be taken 100% literally, then the Nephillim are the actual sons of the Devil(s), first referenced in Bereshith 6! Didn’t Yahoshua say it would be exactly as it was in the days of Noah when He returned? Most people do not realize that the primary purpose of the flood was to wipe out the half-breed race of Nephillim as well as all of humanity which had tolerated the corruption of all human DNA. Could it be that the primary purpose of the return of Yahoshua is to wipe out the Nephillim race once and for all? I am firmly convinced this is 100% true.
(Author’s Note: The demonic spirits that presently roam the earth are the disembodied spirits of the ancient Nephillim race. They are not fallen messengers as commonly believed by many.)
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. v.38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall the coming of the Son of Aḏam be.” ~ MattithYahu (Matthew) 24:37-39
This passage doesn’t really even make sense apart from the understanding of the Nephillim race. Both Yahudah and his half-brother Yahoshua intentionally correlated the perversion of the hybrid breeding in the days on Noah with the perversion of homosexuality. The ones who were marrying and given in marriage in the days of Noah were the fallen rebellious host of Heaven and the daughters of men! Could the return of the hybrid race of the Nephillim also be one of the primary reasons why all of humanity is becoming pro-homosexual behavior at such an alarming rate?
“And the messengers who did not keep their own principality, but left their own dwelling, He has kept in everlasting shackles under darkness for the judgment of the great day. v.7 Even as Seḏom and Amorah and the cities around them in a similar way to these, having given themselves over to whoring and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, undergoing judicial punishment of everlasting fire.” ~ Yahudah (Jude) 1
Luke records the very words MattithYahu records and then he also records these words as well.
“And likewise, as it came to be in the days of Lot: They were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building, v.29 but on the day Lot went out of Seḏom it rained fire and sulphur from heaven and destroyed all. v.30 “It shall be the same in the day the Son of Aḏam is revealed.” ~ Luke 21:28-30
The explanation of the Nephillim being the tares of Yahoshua’s parable is the only explanation I have been able to come up with that not only fulfills all of the prophecies, but also fits the full historic narrative of “The Scriptures”. In addition, it fully agrees with the narrative of what is going to happen over the ten years from 2017-2027 and then the 1,000 years which follows directly afterward.
WHO ARE THE WHEAT IN YAHOSHUA’S PARABLE?
I am now 100% convinced that the wheat are the Yahudim, which consists primarily of the tribes Yahudah, Lewi and BenYamin. These are all those who will only believe on Yahoshua at His return. Whoever repents and believes on Him when He returns will forever be reckoned as Yahudah, the tribes of the Southern Kingdom.
“And I shall pour on the house of Dawiḏ and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim a spirit of favour and prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. And they shall be in bitterness over Him as a bitterness over the first-born.” ~ ZekarYah 12:10
“And it shall be throughout all the soil,” declares יהוה, “that two thirds therein are cut off and die, and one third is left therein. And I shall bring the third into fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My Name, and I shall answer them. I shall say, ‘This is My people,’ while they say, ‘יהוה is my Elohim.’ ” ~ ZekarYah 13:8-9
There at least five very compelling reasons for believing the Yahudim are the wheat harvest of MattithYahu 13.
Reason #1 The covenant bride of betrothal is forever Yisrael, the ten tribes of the North, and not Yahudah. (Hoshea chapters 1 & 2)
Reason #2 Yahudah killed their Groom of betrothal and vowed that the guilt of His blood would forever remain upon them. (Matt 27:25) Whenever any Yahudite (Jew) believes in Yahoshua as Messiah by His favour through faith, then they automatically become part of the 10 tribes of the north (the bride) by adoption (Romans 9:4). Why is this? According to the Scriptures, only the ten tribes of N. Yisrael are Yahoshua’s bride of covenant. (Romans 7:1-4)
Reason #3 Yahudah, (meaning the spiritually understood tribes of Benyamin, Lewi and Yahudah; i.e., the natural branches broken off and burned with fire, Jeremiah 11:16 & Romans 11:17-29) will not be grafted back in as a corporate nation by belief, until after Yahoshua returns with His bride!
Reason #4 Lewi will administer all of the Temple service of the Millennial reign Hekal (Temple), according to Yehezkel chapters 40-48; while the bride will rule and reign with Yahoshua as the Kings and Priests of His kingdom. (Rev 5:10)
Reason #5 Daniel 12:1-2 plainly states that some of Yahudah will arise to everlasting life; while others will rise only to abhor themselves with shame and contempt. This mystery is finally understood in the light of the full counsel of the Scriptures, the ancient picture of Hebrew wedding customs and the Mazzaroth. All three of these witnesses are in full echad (oneness / unity), as they rightfully should be in these last days.
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. v.2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”
I believe the reason this passage states “many of them” and not “all of them” will be resurrected at Yahoshua’s first coming is because only Yisrael by faith will enter into the Kingdom of Yahoshua. Not all that is called Yisrael is truly Yisrael. (Romans 9:6)
I further believe that only those Yahudim who are the true bride of the Messiah are the some who will awake / rise “to everlasting life”.
Finally, I believe those who will awake and rise to “shame and everlasting contempt” are all those who practiced their Christian and Jewish religion(s) sincerely and yet continued to reject their Messiah and true Groom, by favour through faith! As I stated earlier, I firmly believe it is these Yahudim who will minister the Millennial reign Hekal (temple) of Yahoshua ha MaShiach.
Remember the prophecy of Daniel 9:24! Seventy weeks; i.e., seventy years at the revelation level of understanding, are determined upon Yahudah and Yahrushalayim!!! Hallelu-Yah! Let Yahweh be true and let every man be a liar!
There is a very logical and profound reason why Yahudah is called the wheat in this parable. Typically the wheat is harvested by Yisrael at the time of Shavuot (Pentecost). However, in the Sabbath years the wheat, which has grown on its own (i.e., no one will have evangelized them) is to remain unharvested and left for anyone to eat who passes by until Yom Teruah of the following year. Only after Yom Teruah (The Feast of Trumpets) can the wheat (which was left standing in the fields) be harvested by the owner of the field; i.e., Yahoshua haMaShiach.
Let me be perfectly clear at this point. I do not believe that 2016 / 2017 is a Sabbath year on Yahweh’s calendar at all. However, I do firmly believe that 2016 / 2017 is a type and shadow picture of a Sabbath year for several compelling reasons.
1) The bride will be Sabbathing in Heaven for the entire year while on her honeymoon.
2) The whole earth’s remaining populous will probably feel like it is a Sabbath year as the tribulation will have ended and all will be strangely quiet immediately after the bride’s departure (and just before her volatile return with her Groom Yahoshua) to make war and pour out Yahweh’s wrath. From the earthly point of view, the trouble makers will have finally left; and the time to rebuild a brave new world has finally come.
3) The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) 2017 will mark the Jubilee (50th) year of the control of Yahrushalayim being returned to Yahudah. A Jubilee year is always proceeded by a Sabbath year.

It is my prayer that this understanding has edified you and built you up in your most set-apart faith. I pray that the Father in Heaven is pleased with my efforts and that there is a reward laid up for me in Heaven.
SUMMARY
Our adversary has done everything within his power to obscure and destroy the true intended meaning of both the “Seventy Weeks of Daniel” and “The Sign of Yonah” because he knows that all twelve tribes of Yisrael must be grafted into the Olive tree by belief in Yahoshua ha MaShiach. (See Romans 11) The Messiah is being kept up in the Heavens until the time of the restoration of all things. (Acts 1:6-7 & 3:19-21) Yahudah, (the natural olive branches broken off because of unbelief), will not repent, and be baptized, in the name of Yahoshua until they see they are truly guilty of killing their Groom of betrothal in AD 30. Their covenant of death will continue to abide until it is confessed as sin. (Bemidbar (Numbers) 30, Romans 10:9-10 & 1Yahonan (John) 1:9)
We must love our brothers enough to pray and fast for their return, with one unified voice, and then show them the evidence of their guilt, i.e. the silver cup in BenYamin’s hand. (Bereshith (Genesis) 44) We must love them enough to show them the fulfillment of “the seventy weeks of Daniel”, and “the sign of Yonah”, or they will remain an “adulterous and wicked generation” in the eyes of Heaven. All Yahudim who confess their guilt prior to Yom Teruah 2016 (or possibly the 10th Aviv 2014?) will be adopted into the bride of Heaven. However, all those who confess their guilt after this time will only be saved. They will never know the pleasure of intimacy with the Groom, nor will they receive the inheritance of the bride.
Very, very soon the Yahudim will be on the verge of total annihilation once again. Two of the prophetic pictures I am currently studying, (the seven years of famine in the day of Yoseph and the persecution of the Yahudim by Haman in the days of Queen Esther), reveal that all of the elect, by favour, through faith, will soon be crying out with one voice, in fervent prayer, mourning and fasting, and pleading with Yahweh for Yahudah to be saved.
When this comes to pass many of our brother Yahudah will once again teach us from the richness of Yahweh’s Torah(s) and we in turn will share with Yahudah concerning the leading and guiding of the Set-apart Spirit of Yahweh. Only then, will we, once again, become the fullness of the one man in Yahoshua, prophesied by Yehezkel (Ezekiel). / September 22, 2013I do not wish to be disrespectful, but I do disagree with any teaching that sets some proposed date or framework for Christ’s return. A basic reading of scripture along with the words of Jesus Himself indicate we are not meant to know the date of His coming. Instead He told us to preach the gospel, make disciples, and be salt and light to a hurting world. Throughout history we see countless failed attempts to predict Christ’s return, all of which have dealt devastating blows to the gospel’s credibility.
The rapture is nowhere to be found in scripture- modern evangelical teachers merely take Paul’s plain teaching about the ressurection of the dead (John 5, 1 Thessalonians 4) and force their preconcieved theories onto the text.
The early apostles were likely amillenialists- they believed Jesus would return any moment to judge the living and the dead and set everything right. The early church fathers also held a similar view, which is plainly evident in the nicene creed. The rapture developed out if John Darby’s dispensationalism during the 19th century and was romanticized by the entertaining but misguided “Left Behind” series. Please do some more resesrch, people, and come to your senses. The rapture is not going to happen- not now, not ever.

The ones “Taken” in Noah’s day were the WICKED ones.
The ones “Taken” when Jesus sends his “Angels”/”Reapers” are the WICKED ones.
They, the “WICKED” ones will be harvested FIRST, per scripture.

Exactly one week after I published this teaching, the Spirit of Elohim gave me the most amazing confirmation possible – as to the authenticity of the heavenly inspiration given to me concerning both the prophetic and revelation levels of Daniel’s Seventy Shavua. In 2009 my wife and I were supernaturally betrothed by Yahweh and all five time frames of our betrothal match what I wrote above exactly – on a day for a year basis! In addition, everything we experienced during each separate time frame match the exact meaning of each time frame – which I had only learned by the Spirit and the Word – three and a half years after we had lived it. “Then I saw Him (Yahoshua / Jesus) stretching out His hand to His bride and He received her and she was gathered unto Him, I saw a date written in the air, it is almost as if the date is the trumpet, I saw the month was September and heard 3 years from now but the day was not clear to me because 2 days were written, but I didn’t know which one it would be, only YHVH knows the exact day and the hour. I saw a book opened, and all the prophecies written inside and I saw them opening up like scrolls and covering the earth. I saw poverty and hunger in many places. I saw storms coming upon specific places like in cycles. I saw rough seas, almost as if the sea carried the memory of the earth’s rebellion and was angered against the earth. The sun was really, really hot and the heat became scorching, and it looked like the sun was spitting.”
For those who are not messianic disciples of Yahoshua haMashiach (I.e. Jesus the Messiah) – there is no understanding that the Creator, Savior and King of the Universe – whose name is Yahweh – has a personal diary / date book! He recorded these appointments all throughout the Bible, but they are most specifically recorded in Leviticus 23.
Most born-again, spirit-filled believers have NEVER been taught that the Gospel accounts and the book of Acts records that the first four appointment in Yahweh’s personal diary were kept at the exact second Jerusalem time – the first time He walked the earth! Therefore, they do not understand that the next four dates that He has made in His personal diary will also be kept at the exact second Jerusalem time at His return.
When this little girl wrote the prophecy above – there is no way she could have known that Yahweh’s appointment calendar was correctly set to September and not October – as the Hillel-Jewish calendar records the appointed times of Yahweh a full month late this year. (This is the 6th time this has happened since 1948). The day of the Feast of Trumpets has passed (Sept 1st / 2nd) and the day of the feast of Yom Kippur is soon at hand (Sept. 10th / 11th). Could this be the day the prophetess saw in her vision?
In the year of Jubilee only – the last trumpet sound is deferred to the day of Yom Kippur (the Feast of Atonement). In Judaism the sound of the last trumpet is also know as – “the great awakening blast of the dead.” Only Yahweh knows if this is a Jubilee year. For truly no one KNOWS the day or the hour of the rapture of the Bride at the sounding of the last trump!
While I do not know if this young girls prediction will come true or not – it would behoove everyone to truly repent of all their known (and unknown) sins and humbly seek forgiveness from Yahweh and anyone else we may have transgressed – with an upright and sincere heart – just in case!
I have personally met this young lady and I for one believe her vision to be a true vision from Yahweh and I am joyfully anticipating leaving this world behind and forever being with my High Priest, King and Husband!

/ December 5, 2016At the time I wrote was revealed to me (above), I earnestly held to the false belief that the rapture of the Bride will transpire on Yom Teruah (The Feast of the Trumpets of Judgment). However, when the rapture didn’t happen on this date in 2016 – all I could do was humble myself once again and pray and ask for further revelation. Those prayers yielded an abundance of revelation – more than I could ask or think – concerning the feast of Shavuot (Pentecost).
All the time lines the Father has revealed to me in this study (and all the other studies I have published) are still 100% correct – to the best of my knowledge and understanding – according to what has been revealed to me by the Spirit of Truth! Only they have always applied from Shavuot 1948 and not Yom Teruah 1947. Even though my error concerning this date was in complete ignorance – I do apologize for boldly declaring Yom Teruah as the day of the rapture out of my learned ignorance (from the traditions of men) and not by the Spirit of Truth and the full counsel of the Word!
