REVIVAL HAS COME – A WORD IN SEASON

REVIVAL IS HERE!

Just as there was a delay of ten years from the time the Good News went out to the Jews (Acts 2) till the time it went out to the people of the nations (Acts 10 & 11) – so it is in these last days! There has been a heavenly scheduled delay from the time this end-time revival sprung forth in 2009 (the exact year prophesied by Ezekiel!) and the time it has spread out to all those who will receive it 2019. This year is going to be a year like no other!

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Yahweh require of thee, but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim.” ~ Micah 6:8

There are three specific tasks Yahweh has called us to as believers and followers of Y’shua.

First – We are called to do justice!

What does it mean to do justice?

A just man in Hebrew is a tsâdaq man (Strong’s H6663). A tzadak man is a righteous man – a tsaddı̂yq (Strong’s H6662).

A righteous man is a man who is literally doing the right thing – according to the covenant given to him in the Scriptures.

“And Yahweh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our Elohim, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahweh our Elohim, as He hath commanded us.” ~ Deuteronomy 6:24-25

Tsâdaq is the second half of the compound word malak-tsâdaq or melchizedek in our English Bibles. Malak is the word most often translated as angel in our Bibles – however, it literally means messenger. Sometime a messenger originates from Heaven and more often His messenger originates from Earth. All of the priests of the Malak-Tsâdaq order – from the first Adam to Abraham originated from Earth obviously.

MY PEOPLE PERISH FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE

There are three eternal truths declared from the full council of the Scriptures – which the 21st churches have failed to comprehend with any depth of understanding. We are literally perishing because we do not know the Word of Yahweh! Most of us do not even know the remaining 4/5ths of Hosea 4:6 – which we quote rather frequently in the churches.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to Me. And since you have forgotten the law (i.e. Torah/Instructions/Covenant) of your Elohim, I also will forget your children.”

The reason we are perishing is because we have rejected the authority of Scripture and thus, we have forgotten the Scriptures.

First – The King of the “Old” Testament is the King of the “New” Testament!
The first eternal truth that we have not truly comprehended in the churches today is that the same King who said “Let there be light” is the same King whose arms were stretched out on a cross almost 2,000 years ago. (John 1:1; Col. 1:15-20 & Revelation 1:8)

The same King that walked with Adam in the “cool of the day” is the same King that was in the ground for three days and three nights.

The same King that rose victoriously on the third day is the same King that gave the covenant to Moses on Mt. Sinai! (Exodus 33:11; Isaiah 33:22 & James 4:12)

The same King who provided the manna and water in the wilderness for forty years is the same King before whom “every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess” that He is the Master of all. (Isa. 45:18-23; Phil. 2:9-11 & 1Cor. 10:1-4)

The same King who is coming again as the KING OF KINGS and the MASTER OF MASTERS is the same King whose name is the only one under Heaven by which men can be saved! (Acts 2:21; Joel 2:32 & Rev. 19:16)

Y’shua is and always has been Yahweh Elohim the Son – who is one (echad) with Yahweh Elohim the Father and Yahweh Elohim the Spirit! The three who are one has always been the complete understanding of Judaism and only partially understood by Christendom.

THE THREE WHO ARE ONE

Y’shua always was (and eternally is) the Word who was from the beginning (John 1:11) and He also always was the specially designated Angel of Yahweh (i.e. the Malak / Messenger of Yahweh).

THE MESSENGER OF YAHWEH

Second – The People of the “Old” Testament are the People of the “New” Testament!
The second eternal truth that we have not truly comprehended in the churches today is that the same people of the “Old” Testament is the same people of the “New” Testament!

“Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Yahudah (i.e. Judah)! ~ Jeremiah 31:31!

According to the prophet Jeremiah and the author of Hebrews (8:8) the new covenant is only for the northern house of Yisrael and the southern house of Judah!

Yahweh not only promised that the new covenant would be for the whole house of Yisrael – but He further promised that He would never forget them or abandon them altogether.

“Thus saith Yahweh, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; Yahweh of hosts is His name: If those ordinances depart from before Me, saith Yahweh, then the seed of Yisrael also shall cease from being a nation before me forever. Thus saith Yahweh; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the Earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Yisrael for all that they have done, saith Yahweh.” ~ Jeremiah 31:35-37

HEAR THE WORD OF YAHWEH

In Romans 1:20 – we are taught the unseen is teaching us the seen. The natural is teaching us the spiritual.

“For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and heavenly nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”

YOU ARE A HEBREW

“Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham.” ~ Gal.3:7 (Gen. 12:3)

In the natural – my father is a citizen of the united States of America and therefore I am also an American citizen. In the exact same way – Scripture says I am a son of Abraham – in the spirit – because of the favor I have found by saving faith. Abraham was the first Hebrew and since I am his son – I too must be a Hebrew! Hebrew is a word which means “crossed over”. Abraham crossed over from death to life – by faith in the Word of Elohim! I too have crossed over from death to life – by faith in the Word of Elohim and if you have been born-again by the three-part, regenerating immersion of the Spirit, the Word and the Blood of the Lamb – then you too are a Hebrew.

YOU ARE ALSO A JEW

“For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the

Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from Elohim.” ~ Rom. 2:28-29

Has your heart been circumcised?

If the answer is “Yes!” – then according to the Scriptures you are a true Jew!”

Circumcision of the heart is nothing new to the “New” Testament – it is first found in Deuteronomy 10:16.

“Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no longer stubborn.”

“Is your praise from Yahweh or from men? If your praise is from Yahweh – then according to the Scriptures you are a true Jew! The first person recorded who declared her praise was from Yahweh and not from men was Leah – one of the matrons of Yisrael and the first wife and ultimately the true love of Ya‘acob! (Genesis 29:35)

YOU ARE ALSO AN YISRAELITE

“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision (i.e. pharisees following the manmade religion of orthodox Judaism) in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without the Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without Yahweh in the world: But now in the Messiah Yahoshua ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of the Messiah…”

“…Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens (of Yisrael) with the saints, and of the household of Elohim.” ~ Ephesians 2:11-13 & 19

As clearly as he can say it – the apostle to those who are coming out of the gentiles – is declaring that we are no longer gentiles – but fellow citizens of the house of Yisrael! This is very Good News indeed – as that is who the “new” covenant has been given to – not to the gentiles who are out of covenant.

Salvation (justification) has never been by race (e.g. Cain, Ishmael, Esau, Judas Iscariot, etc.) – it has always been by grace (unmerited favor)! Yisrael was always made up of two people groups from the beginning! First – there were those who were born of the twelve sons of Yisrael (plus the Levites) and then there were those who were adopted into the family. As it says in Romans 9:4 – to Yisrael pertains the adoption!

In Genesis chapter 34 we read of the two sons of Ya‘acob (Simeon and Levi) destroying the Hivite people – avenging their sister Dinah’s disgrace. As a direct result of this massacre – Ya‘acob adopted all the women and children (whose lives were all spared) into his family (v. 29). Next we read how Ya‘acob providentially adopted his two grandsons in Genesis chapter 48. Finally, we read how a great multitude of the nations also came out with the Yisraelites when they made their exodus out of Egypt (Exodus 12:38) and how Yahweh adopted them into the tribes, clans and families of Yisrael – as recorded in the book of Numbers.

The Scriptures (and the book of Yasher (Joshua 10:13 & 2Samuel 1:18) record that all the nations (i.e. 70 nations) came to Egypt to buy food as there was a world-wide famine for seven years. Many of those who came to Egypt remained there (like Ya‘acob and his sons) because that is where the food supply was. When Yahweh began to decimate the land of Egypt with the ten plagues – He made a distinction between His people the Yisraelites (who were living in Goshen) and the Egyptians during the last seven plagues.

In Genesis 15:13-16, Yahweh warns Abraham that his seed would dwell in Egypt for four hundred years – until the 4th generation. If each of the 12 sons of Yisrael had 12 sons and their sons had 12 sons and their sons had 12 sons – then the total number – (not counting all those who died) – would come to less than 30,000 total! Even if you added a fifth generation of 12 sons each – you would still have far less than 300,000 total (not including all those who died) and in both cases that would be a what if – best case scenario!

Moses was the fourth generation (and his sons were the 5th) from their father Levi – according to Exodus 6. However, in the book of Numbers chapter 2:32 there was 603,550 fighting men – registered to the twelve tribes of Yisrael – not counting those who were numbered for service of the tribe of Levi. This additional information would mean that the children of Yisrael – who were all natural born – were not even half of the number that followed Moses to Mt. Sinai and quite possibly didn’t even make up five percent of the total population at the time the covenant was given!

It was by the Spirit of adoption that some from each of the 70 nations escaped the land of Egypt and were called the sons of Elohim! I.e. Exodus 12:38 Of all those adopted – Caleb (one of the 12 who spied out the Promised Land) was the most famous! With this additional information in mind – if you’ll take the time to read the whole book of Exodus and then the book of Numbers – then the whole account of the exodus and the events that followed after will make much more sense.

As the people of the nations witnessed that Yahweh was with the Yisraelites and that the Egyptian “mighty-ones” were powerless against Him – they began to believe in the Elohim of Yisrael – Yahweh. Whatever the Yisraelites did – they also did (even some of the “wise” Egyptians began to do so as well – Exodus 9:20-21). When the nations saw the Yisraelites perform the first Passover – they most likely performed the Passover too – and when the Yisraelites exited the land – they too joined their great exodus.

More often than not – it was those who were adopted Yisrael from among the nations who rebelled against Yahweh and His servant Moses (Numbers 11:4) and caused a lot of trouble among the natural-born Yisraelites. Adoption into the house of Yisrael (i.e. the family of Elohim) is not new to the “New” Testament – adoption has always been a legitimate way to join the house of Yisrael from the beginning!

THE CALLED-OUT ONES

Approximately two-hundred years before Y’shua walked the Earth, the “Old” Testament was translated into Greek by 70 Hebrew priests – which is properly called “The Septuagint”. When you compare the Greek “Old” Testament to the Greek “New” Testament you will begin to “discover” some very amazing and insightful truth! One of these truths is that the word “ekklesia” – which is translated “church” in our English Bibles is found more often in the “Old” Testament than it is found in the “New” Testament.

However, the Bible translators have elected to translate the exact same word as “assembly” in the “Old” Testament and “church” in the “New” Testament. In the “Old” Testament the assembly of the called-out ones or saints was always in reference to Yisrael. So how come our Bibles do not read “assembly” in the “New” Testament? Where did the word “church” even come from if not from the ekklesia?

The word for church comes from the Latin word “kirke”. It is the exact same word from which we derive our English word “circus”. The ekklesia never meant “church” it is just one of many “New” Testament words which were first used in the “Old” Testament. As a matter of fact, every single word in the entire cannon of Scripture is first used in its call-stem, 3rd person, masculine, singular in the first four chapters of Genesis. Yesterday, today and forever – both the “Old” and “New” Testaments are written to the called-out assembly / assemblies of Yisrael.

The prophet Hosea was a prophet to the northern house of Yisrael. It was to the ten tribes of the north Yahweh spoke these words of promise and covenant.

“And in that day, declares Yahweh, you will call me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal.’ For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, and they shall be remembered by name no more… …And I will betroth you to Me forever. I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. And you shall know Yahweh.” ~ Hosea 2:16-20

It is clearly not the “church” He promised to take as a bride forever. It always was, and forever will be – Yisrael! It was to the ten tribes of the north that He also makes another eternal promise.

“And I will sow her unto Me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not My people, Thou art My people; and they shall say, Thou art my Elohim.” ~ Hosea 2:23

Finally – The Covenant of the “Old” Testament is the Covenant of the “New” Testament!
If you ask any Christian believer where the “new” covenant is written down – so that you might learn it – to perform it and to proclaim it to others – then they will probably tell you – “In the “New” Testament.” However, if you then further press them to show you where in the “New” Testament is this covenant recorded then they could not tell you – as it is not recorded there.

The “new” covenant is actually not new at all! Yahweh made two covenants with the people of Yisrael in the “Old” Testament. The first covenant He made with them at Mt. Sinai at the time of the first “Pentecost” (i.e. Shavuot) when they came out of Egypt (Exodus 19-24). They broke this covenant in Exodus 32 when they worshiped Him falsely (v.5-6) and made Him into the likeness of a golden calf. Yahweh caused all that generation (who followed Moses out of Egypt) to perish in the wilderness over forty years.

All those who were twenty years and under received an unconditional promise by His favor that they would follow Joshua into the Promised Land by faith (Numbers 14:29-34)! This generation would receive the “new” covenant from Moses in the plains of Moab (Deuteronomy 29:1) – by faith. And by that same faith they would follow Joshua over the Yarden river on dry ground and then eventually conquer much of the Promised Land over the next five years.

What is hidden in a mystery – is that all of those who heard the “new” covenant proclaimed where out of covenant (i.e. gentiles) at the time they received it. The whole host of Yisrael had become uncircumcised gentiles while they were wandering in the wilderness. For 38 years they did not go to the Tabernacle in the wilderness, they did not celebrate the appointments of Yahweh and they did not get circumcised on the 8th day – as a sign of the covenant (Joshua 5).

The reason for this is very simple. The whole camp had been in a state of perpetual uncleanness – as there was much death in the camp. On an average, 150 people would have had to die each day in the wilderness from the time they were cursed in Numbers 14 till the time the “new” covenant was given in the plains of Moab. Everyone in the camp who came into contact with the dead was declared unclean for seven days (Numbers 19:11-22). Thus, the whole camp was unclean for almost all of the forty years in the wilderness.

THE NEW COVENANT

Q. Why is it called a “new” covenant, if it is not a literal new covenant?

A. Imagine your close friend called you and excitedly asked you to come over and see their new car. When you arrive, you see that your friend is showing you a car that is twenty years old, badly needs a paint job, has faded interior and has been driven many, many miles. Then you say to your friend, “I thought you got a “new” car? This is most definitely not a “new” car.” Then your friend replies – “Yes, I know it is a used car – but it is new to me – as I just became the holder of the title deed!”

The Hebrew word for new (i.e. the “new” covenant) is châdâsh (Strong’s H2319). It is from this word that we also get the word chôdesh (Strong’s H2320) – which is translated into our English Bibles as “New Moon”. Obviously, there is not a brand-new moon every month – rather it is “new” again in its monthly cycle from darkness to fullness to darkness again. In the exact same way – the “new” covenant is only new to the recipient of the covenant.

The “new” covenant prophesied by Jeremiah – was first given to the children of Yisrael in the plains of Moab – as recorded in Deuteronomy chapters 5 – 28.

Q. So, what exactly was new about the “new” covenant?

A. First – It was given to the Joshua generation – the uncircumcised gentiles – who received it by faith! It was “new” because of whom it was given to receive it.

Second – It was the first time the whole of the Torah (i.e. the Instructions of the King) was codified into a wedding contract called “the ketubah of the bride”.

Third – Moses set the words of the wedding covenant to music (Deuteronomy 31:19-22)

THE MARRIAGE COVENANT

Most Christians are completely oblivious to the reality that the “new” covenant always was and is a wedding covenant – which the Groom gave His bride out of His love for her and His desire to shine His favor on her, bless her and give her an abundant life!

“Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My covenant they brake, although I was a Husband unto them, saith Yahweh.” ~ Jeremiah 31:32

“Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says Yahweh, “I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.” ~ Jeremiah 2:2

“When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age for love, and I spread the corner of My garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made My vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares Yahweh Elohim, and you became Mine.” ~ Ezekiel 16:8

“For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This secret is great, but I speak concerning Messiah and the assembly.” ~ Ephesians 5:31-32

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself.” And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the set-apart ones. And he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true words of Elohim.” ~ Revelation 19:7-9

“For your Maker is your Husband, Yahweh of hosts is His name; and the set-apart of Yisrael is your Redeemer, the Elohim of the whole earth He is called. For Yahweh has called you like a wife deserted and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when she is cast off, says your Elohim. For a brief moment I deserted you, but with great compassion I will gather you. In overflowing anger for a moment I hid My face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says Yahweh, your Redeemer.” ~ Isaiah 54:5-8

WRITTEN IN OUR HEART

“But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Yisrael; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.” ~ Jeremiah 31:3

Many people would argue that the biggest difference between the “new” covenant and the “old” covenant is that the “old” covenant was written on tablets of stone and the new covenant is written on our hearts. However, is that the truth? Yes, it is true that the Ten Words of the Covenant was written on tables of stone on two different occasions – by the very finger of Elohim. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the “old” covenant wasn’t written on their hearts too.

David let Yahweh write the word of Yahweh on his heart – so that he would not sin against Yahweh.

“Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee.” ~ Psalm 119:10

“My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart.” ~ Prov. 3:1-3

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.” ~ Proverbs 4:20-21

“My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.” ~ Proverbs 6:20-23

“My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.” ~ Proverbs 7:1-3

A TWO-EDGED SWORD

The promise spoken in Jeremiah 31:3 is nothing new! It was always Yahweh’s plan that His people would hide His Word in their heart and that was (and still is) how He writes His covenant on the hearts of His people – Yisrael! To further illustrate this is the true understanding of how Yahweh writes His Word on our heart in cooperation with our memorizing and meditating on it – I would like to share with you the extreme opposite example in the life of the Pharaoh – as the Word is a two-edged Sword and what is true for good is also just as true for evil.

Yahweh said that He would harden the Pharaoh’s heart – however, Scripture also records that Pharaoh also hardened his heart against Yahweh! This is not a contradiction whatsoever – this is simply showing how Yahweh gives us free will and works with us according to the choices that we are making.

Ex. 4:21 ~ And Yahweh said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the miracles that I have put in your power. But I will harden his heart…”
Ex. 7:3 ~ “But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart…”Ex. 8:15 ~ “But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart…”
Ex. 8:32 ~ “But Pharaoh hardened his heart…”
Ex. 9:12 ~ “But Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh…”
Ex. 9:34 ~ “But when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunder had ceased, he sinned yet again and hardened his heart…”
Ex. 10:1 ~ “Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart…”
Ex. 10:20 ~ “But Yahweh hardened Pharaoh’s heart…”
Ex. 10:27 ~ “But Yahweh hardened Pharaoh’s heart…”
Ex. 11:10 ~ “Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, and Yahweh hardened Pharaoh’s heart…”

Seven times Yahweh states that He will harden Pharaoh’s heart during the demonstration of His power through the ten plagues which decimated Egypt. However, three times Scripture also testifies that Pharaoh hardened his own heart against Yahweh. Whether for our blessing, life and set-apartness or for our evil and destruction – Yahweh allows us the free will to choose life or death and then will submit Himself to the authority of the choices we have made in full agreement with the will we have exercised. This is equally true if we are writing His covenant on our heart through memorization and meditation or if we have hardened our hearts against Him and His covenant.

To anyone who would object to what I have shared concerning what it means for Yahweh to write His covenant on your heart – I would simply ask the question – “If His covenant is supposed to be on the inside of you and not outside and apart from you – wouldn’t that mean you would desire all the more to guard His covenant and proclaim His covenant to others?”

If I have a glass of water in my hand – it is outside my body and separate from me. If I drink the water – now I have internalized it and the water has become an essential part of my life. In the exact same way, when I carry my Bible it is outside of me and separate from me – however, when I read the Scriptures, study it, memorize it and meditate on it – then I have truly internalized the covenant and it becomes the most essential part of my life. It is now written in my heart!

HERE COMES THE BRIDE

Have you ever observed a woman who is happily engaged and merrily looking forward to her wedding date? Even on the hottest of days and even while doing the most menial and laborious tasks – she can still sing a song from her heart simply because she is rejoicing to be the finance’ of the groom.

Moses set the whole marriage covenant (ketubah) to a musical accompaniment – so that the bride would be able to sing her heart song – no matter what the circumstance of her life. It is a proven scientific reality that when we learn to music, we engage both the logical and emotional sides of our brain and we tend to remember it for a much longer period of time – if not the rest of our lives. Have you ever asked yourself what is the song of Moses and what is the song of the Lamb – which will be sung in Heaven?

It’s the same song! It’s the wedding covenant of the Groom and the bride! We are going to sing a duet with the Groom – who gave the lyrics and inspired the accompaniment arrangement through His servant Moses. Yahweh set the lyrics to music so that the bride could write the “new” covenant in her heart!

“And they sing the song of Moses the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Yahweh El Shaddai; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.” ~ Revelation 15:3

THE “NEW” COVENANT

Have you ever prayed for wisdom and understanding – fully expecting Yahweh to answer?

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” ~ James 1:5-6

If you have ever prayed for wisdom and understanding – you might be interested to know – the answer to your prayer is found in writing the marriage covenant upon your heart.

“Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as Yahweh my Elohim commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath elohim so nigh unto them, as Yahweh our Elohim is in all things that we call upon Him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons.” ~ Deuteronomy 4:5-9

DIRECTION, PROTECTION AND CORRECTION

First – The “new” covenant is for our direction.

The covenant clearly shows us “the way” we should go. If we do not know the way we are to go – then we are lost! The covenant is showing us “the way” we are to live as the covenant bride of the heavenly Groom!

“Let Me instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; Let Me counsel, My eye be on you.” ~ Psalm 32:8

“Blessed are the perfect in the way, Who walk in the Torah (i.e. covenant) of Yahweh!” ~ Psalm 119:1

“Make me understand the way of Your orders (i.e. covenant); That I might meditate on Your wonders.” ~ Psalm 119:14

“I have chosen the way of truth (i.e. covenant); Your right-rulings I have held level.” ~ Psalm 119:30

“I run the way of Your commands (i.e. covenant), For You enlarge my heart. ~ Psalm 119:32

“Teach me, O Yahweh, the way of Your laws (i.e. covenant), And I observe it to the end. ~ Psalm 119:33

Have you ever heard the Scripture quoted – “Where there is no vision, the people perish!” Did you know that only half the verse is being quoted? What about the other half?

“But blessed is he who guards the Torah (i.e. instructions of the marriage covenant!)” ~ Proverbs 29:18

If we do not hear and obey the covenant, we cannot possibly know the way, we forfeit our blessing and we are lost and we will soon perish – just as it says in Hosea 4:6!

“My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being priest for Me. Since you have forgotten the Torah (i.e. covenant) of your Elohim, I also forget your children.”

Note: The only Scriptures that were rightfully considered Scripture when the Psalms and Proverbs were written was the first five books called the Torah – which is where we find the “new” covenant!

Second – The “new” covenant is for our protection!

If we do not know the covenant of the King, we cannot know the protection of the King. The covenant is a fence. It is meant to protect and keep safe that which is valuable and priceless to the heavenly Groom from undesirable predators and wolves who seek to fleece and devour the flock.

“The way of Yahweh is a stronghold for the perfect.” ~ Proverbs 10:29

“In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death.” ~ Proverbs 12:28

“For Yahweh gives wisdom; Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding. And He treasures up stability for the straight, A shield to those walking blamelessly, To watch over the paths of right-ruling, And the way of His lovingly-committed ones He guards.” ~ Proverbs 2:6-8

Those who foolishly disregard the covenant of the King – due so to their own detriment! Without the wall of protection that keeps us from all evil and keeps all evil from us – we are vulnerable to every attack of the enemy.

“I have treasured up Your word in my heart, That I might not sin against You.” ~ Psalm 119:11

“He covers you with His feathers, And under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour.” ~ Psalm 91:4

Third – His covenant is for correction. If you know I want to reach a specific destination and you see that I am heading in the wrong direction – then your love for me says, “Hey there brother, I thought you wanted to go to such and such a place and the way you’re going presently you’ll never reach your destination. If you want to reach your intended destination, then you definitely want to head the other way because you’re going the wrong way.”

“My son, do not despise the discipline of Yahweh, And do not loathe His reproof (i.e. correction).” ~ Proverbs 3:11

“He who heeds discipline is in the way of life, But he who refuses reproof (i.e. correction) goes astray.” ~ Proverbs 10:17

“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof (i.e. correction) is stupid.” ~ Proverbs 12:1

“Poverty and shame are for him Who ignores discipline, But he who heeds reproof (i.e. correction) is esteemed.” ~ Proverbs 13:18

“An ear that hears the reproof (i.e. correction) of life does dwell among the wise. He who ignores discipline hates himself, But he who listens to reproof gets understanding.” ~ Proverbs 15:31-32

Receiving reproof / correction from a first century Jewish perspective is called repentance. The primary Hebrew word for repentance is teshuva. The parent root word for teshuva in its call-stem, 3rd person, masculine, singular – is shuv. The first time the word shuv is used in Scripture is found in Genesis 3:19.

“By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return (shuv) to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return (shuv).”

Our English Bibles translate the word shuv into the word return. By this first context of usage – we can understand the meaning of repentance to the 1st century Jewish mind. Repentance (teshuva) to a Jew meant to return to where they originated from – even as Adam returned to where he originated from.

Question: Where did the Jewish people of the 1st century A.D. originate from?
Answer: From Yahweh and the covenant He gave them at Mt. Sinai!

Question: Where did we originate from as “new” covenant believers who have been justified by faith?
Answer: From the cross of Y’shua and the “new” covenant He made new – through the power of His resurrection – by the indwelling Spirit!
Sin is defined as transgression of the covenant of Yahweh! The only way we can receive correction is by acknowledging the authority of the “new” covenant – which we have transgressed!

“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law (i.e. “new” covenant): for sin is the transgression of the law (i.e “new” covenant).” ~ 1John 3:4

The ultimate, intended destination of every born-again believer I have ever met in my life is Heaven. Unfortunately, most of the people who want to go to Heaven do not have the very first clue how to get there. They have been lied to their whole life and do not know the truth – and sadly most do not want to know the truth.

If we reject the covenant of the one true King – then we cannot possibly receive correction! It is the Word of His covenant alone that brings correction to His people!

A LIVING ILLUSTRATION

That which we can see – is teaching us what we cannot see! I.e. Romans 1:20 Now, let us suppose in the natural that Prince William – the future king of England has only just now announced his engagement (i.e. betrothal) to his future wife – Kate Middleton. As the future queen and newest member of the royal family – she is personally liable to prepare herself for the responsibilities – not only for her “new” life as a member of the royal family – but also she must prepare for the particular responsibilities and protocols of being the future queen of the king.

Now, let us suppose that Kate Middleton says to herself that she only wants to marry the prince – and she does not care to be taught according to the covenant of the future Mrs. Queen of England. She then refuses to listen to any of the instructors and to learn any of the protocols of diplomacy and the rights and responsibilities of the queen of England. Do you honestly think that such an attitude of heart and subsequent actions would be acceptable to the future king and the royal family? Do you honestly think that they will casually dismiss such an irreverent attitude and irresponsible actions and allow for Kate to marry into the family anyway?

Furthermore, what if Kate then earnestly pleaded and begged out of the sincerity of her heart that although she did not care to learn and guard the covenant of the king and queen – she thought she would make a really great wife for William and a terrific queen for the British people and that all that really mattered was the sincerity of her heart – not her rebellion against the covenant of the kingdom and the protocols of royalty. Do you think perhaps the prince and the royal family would then reconsider their proposal?

If you think this illustration is far too severe – then please hear the very Word of the KING OF KINGS and true Husband of the bride!

“Not everyone that saith unto me, Sovereign, Sovereign, shall inherit the reign of the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Sovereign, Sovereign, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye workers of lawlessness.” ~ Matthew 7:21-23

At least seven different times in the Good News accounts – the Son has declared that His doctrine was never His own – but only what was given to Him from the Father. The will of the Father is for the bride of His Son to walk in the light of the betrothal covenant of the marriage to His Son. The covenant of the Groom and bride is also the Torah (i.e. instructions) of the Father’s house!

Let us be perfectly blunt with one another – as the Scriptures are perfectly blunt! It is not the Hindus, the Muslims, the Bahai, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, The Latter-Day Saints, the Roman Catholics, etc, etc. etc. – whom the Master Y’shua is addressing in these verses. He is only speaking to blood-bought, born-again, spirit-filled children of Yahweh Elohim. They are the only sect to whom the description applies.

The key to understanding these Scriptures and interpreting it correctly is two-fold.

Firstly – twice – Y’shua references the covenant of the Groom and the bride. Those who “do not do the will of the Father” and those who are the “workers of lawlessness” are those who like the fictional account of Kate Middleton in this illustration – refusing to learn the covenant of the King and His Kingdom.

Secondly – He uses the exact same term of intimacy first used in Genesis chapter 4:1.

“Now Adam knew Hawah his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, “I have gotten a man with the help of Yahweh.”

The reign of the Kingdom only belongs to the wife – whom the Groom consummates His betrothal with on the day the last trumpet of Yahweh sounds. All those who come to Him on that day prophesied in Matthew 7:21-23 – did not follow the Husband into the wedding chamber prepared for the blissful and eternal union of the Groom and bride of the Kingdom of Yahweh. I.e. John 14:2-3, 1Cor. 15:51-58, 1Thes. 4:13-18 & Revelation 19:7-8

As it is in the natural – so it is in the spiritual. When the husband and wife come together on their honeymoon – the fruit of the womb comes forth. Children are born into the covenant of the husband and wife. When the heavenly Husband and wife return to earth – from the honeymoon chamber of consummation – the children of the kingdom will be revealed! I.e. Matt. 13:37-43 & Rev. 19:11-21 The children of the kingdom – will be greatly surprised on the day the King and queen return to establish their reign over all the Earth! Even though they will be the children of the King and kingdom – they will never be the bride of favor who rules with the Groom!

When they were still mortals – they were fully convinced in their mind that they were the bride of the Messiah – even though they despised His covenant in their hearts and refused to hear it and learn it – to guard it and obey it! Imagine what an awful shock it will be to the majority of the children of the kingdom on that day! They fully believed in the lies they comforted themselves with, the lies they were comforted with by the false doctrines and the lies they were comforted with by the false shepherds (Isa. 42:19-20 & 56:10-12) whom they trusted in completely – not the One True Authority of the bride – Y’shua and His covenant of life.

Now let us suppose the future queen of England decide to “sow her wild oats” soon after they had become engaged. Imagine if she was out with a different man every night, partying and carrying on till the early morning hours, while drinking heavily and abusing drugs and then going home with a different lover every time.

Do you think there is absolutely any way in the world that the engagement isn’t going to be broken and the wedding called off forever? Do you honestly think that she is not going to be outed by the media and shamed by the press for behaving in such an outlandish and inappropriate way – as a future queen? Do you honestly think that she will ever outlive her shame and humiliation? For all of her days – she will only know weeping and gnashing of teeth from the bitterness of her heart – for she despised the favor given to her.

If no earthly king would tolerate such behavior from his bride of engagement – then how come we think it is acceptable for the Groom of Heaven to receive such an apostate bride?

HEAR THE WORD OF YAHWEH!

“For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the law (i.e. the Torah) of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of Elohim, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was set-apart, and has outraged the Spirit of favor? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Master will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living Elohim.” ~ Hebrews 10:26-31

The author of Hebrews is revealing yet another mystery! If you carefully study the Torah – you will soon discover there never was any sacrifice for sins unto death – which were intentionally committed in rebellion against Yahweh and His covenant. As you study the Scriptures – from Genesis to Malachai you will begin to see this secret being revealed. E.g. – King David, King Ahab and King Manasseh are all prime examples of men who sinned against Yahweh intentionally – and in their rebellion against His covenant they sinned grievous sins – which were worthy of the death penalty.

Yahweh confronted these men in their sin(s) – through His servants the prophets. Each of these men humbled themselves and acknowledged their transgression(s) before Yahweh with a broken and contrite heart and thus they were forgiven. In each of these instances these men did not go to the tabernacle or temple to offer sin offerings unto Yahweh.

The reason they did not offer any sacrifices to Yahweh – is because there are no sacrifices provided in the Torah for intentional sins of rebellion – unto death. Only the sins of ignorance and unintentional sins – which were not eligible for the death penalty – were covered by the sacrificial system. If the sinner – who had sinned unto death – was not broken and contrite before Yahweh – then they would be executed as those who were “under the Torah” – upon the testimony of two witnesses.

The author of Hebrews is not stating anything new – only that which is true! Every “new” covenant believer should memorize the following and never forget it.

“If it is new – then it cannot be true and if it is true – then it cannot be new!”

Many believers confess this statement – however, they do not possess the conviction to carry it out. “If anyone dies after committing an intentional sin(s) of rebellion – unto death – thereby trampling the blood of the Lamb underfoot” – and does not confess and forsake their sin before Yahweh – and they die in their sin(s) – there is only the fearful expectation of fiery judgment.

Yahweh does not change! I.e. Mal. 3:6 & Hebrews 13:8 If He divorced Yisrael (and put them out of the land) and almost completely destroyed Judah (70 A.D.) for their trampling of His covenant – when all the sacrifices were by the blood of animals – then how much more worthy do you think we should be punished – if we perpetually rebel against the covenant – presumptuously trampling the blood of the covenant Husband who died for us. Yahweh help us to tremble and fear at His Word once again!

The covenant was never for salvation – it was always to bless the bride and to give her the promise of abundant life.

“I have called the heavens and the earth as witnesses today against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore you shall choose life, so that you live, both you and your seed.” ~ Deut. 30:19

Second – We are called to love mercy!

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Yahweh require of thee, but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim?” ~ Mic. 6:8

“And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as Elohim also forgave you in Messiah.” ~ Ephesians 4:32

We are called to love mercy as our heavenly Husband loves mercy! We are called to forgive as we have been forgiven! The promise of Scripture is perfectly straightforward – if we do not forgive – then we will not be forgiven!

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you. “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall your Father forgive your trespasses.” ~ Matthew 6:14-15

By the full council of the Scripture – when we cease to forgive any offense – we are consciously blocking the flow of Yahweh’s love and compassion in our lives and we become bitter of heart -even as we were before we were saved. We are called to release every offense to the cross as – “paid in full” – (Col. 2:14) – just as Yahweh released all our offense against Him – “paid in full” – at the cross of Y’shua.

He forgives me perfectly every time I confess and repent of my sin with a broken and contrite heart before His throne. Not one time – did He say to me – “I am going to give you a probationary period to see how you’re going to live your life and then you’ll be fully reconciled and restored to Me and My covenant.”

When Simon Peter (Shimon Kepha) was forgiven after the resurrection (John 21) – did Y’shua give him a probationary period first – before fully restoring him? No! No! No! A thousand times – No! He fully restored him to service immediately and even so we are called to restore one another completely to Yahweh and one another through the cross of the Son.

“If, then, you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother holds whatever against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first make peace with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” ~ Matthew 5:23-24

“And if your brother sins against you, go and reprove him, between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.” ~ Matthew 18:15

Whether we have sinned against our brother or our brother has sinned against us – the Master has charged us with the personal responsibility to seek reconciliation and restoration of the relationship – first with Yahweh and then with us. As partakers of the covenant – we are first called to the ministry of reconciliation.

“And all things are of Elohim, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Y’shua haMashiach, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” ~ 2Cor. 5:18

MERCY COMES TO RWANDA

In 1994 – one million people were brutally and needlessly slaughtered when a conflict broke out between differing factions – within Rwanda – over one hundred days. Because the bloodshed of the massacre was so great – the President instituted a policy of forgiveness and reconciliation. He realized that killing tens of thousands of more Rwandans in the name of justice would not bring about the much-needed healing to the broken spirit of the survivors.

This supernatural wisdom must have been given to the President by Heaven above – because as of today Rwanda has been transformed into one of the most peaceful, cleanest and prosperous nations in all of Africa. Everyone who fully confessed their crimes and took personal responsibility for their sin(s) was given a full and complete pardon and was restored to society. I once heard the remarkable testimony of an American pastor who went to Rwanda to witness first hand the miraculous transformation for himself.

During his visit, his host pastor took him to a local prison. While he was there, his host pastor shared with him an amazing testimony. It was the testimony of a local woman who was left for dead – immediately after watching her attacker ruthlessly murder her husband. Her life-threatening wounds were so severe – it would take more than two years for her to recover.

Once she had fully recovered – she asked the Father what she should do with her life. Soon afterward, the Spirit led her to go to the prison where all the murderers were kept and be a mother to them. Soon she began to take the prisoners basic toiletries, washcloths, towels and blankets – and she began to feed them as well. It was not too long after she began this ministry that all the prisoners began to affectionately call her “mommy”.

Then one day, one of the prisoners humbly knelt down before her and asked with bitter tears running down his face – “Mommy do you remember me?”

As she looked into the eyes of her attacker and the murderer of her husband, she instantly recalled the young man she was looking at. He continued, “Mommy can you ever please forgive me for what I did to you and your husband?” Without any hesitation, “mommy” replied with a soft and firm voice, “Even as all my sins have been forgiven because of the cross of our Savior – even so I forgive you for your sins.”

After relating this account, the host pastor asked the American if he would like to meet this remarkable woman. When the American pastor met her, he asked, “whatever became of that young man?” The woman looked deep into her inquisitor’s eyes and replied, “He fully confessed to all his crimes at his trial and then he was given a full pardon from the government. Once he was release, I invited him to come and live with me and I legally adopted him as my own son.”

She then asked the pastor if he would like to meet the young man. She then took the pastor by the hand and led him to the Rwandan pastor – who had served as his host – and joined their hands together – and then she said, “this is my son.”

As remarkable as this account is – it should be the norm and not the exception for every follower of Y’shua – for this woman forgave – even as she had been forgiven! Just like you and me – she was guilty of the shed blood of Y’shua – and just like you and me – she was pardoned for her sins in full – and just like you and me – she was adopted into the family of Yahweh – as a firstborn child – heir to all things! I.e. 1John 2:2; Col. 2:14 & Romans 8:14-17.

Today, if you know of anyone who is bitter toward you or if you know of anyone you have not forgiven completely – do not let the sun go down until you have sought out that person and made it right between you and that person! It is the command of Yahweh and you will not be a at peace with Him, your neighbor and yourself – until you have made every effort – as much as it depends on you – to minister reconciliation!

Whenever I conduct a wedding ceremony, I ask the man and woman to covenant with Yahweh – before witnesses – that they will never go to bed with any offence in their hearts toward one another or toward another person. This covenant promise is in full agreement with the Scriptures and if they will keep their promise – they will never get a divorce. After all – no one goes to the court to apply for divorce whose heart is free from bitterness toward their spouse or anyone else – for that matter.

“Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.” ~ Ephesians 4:26

Finally – We are called to walk in humility!

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Yahweh require of thee, but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim.” ~ Mic. 6:8

Our Master did not come to be served – but to serve – even though He was / is the Creator and Master of all!

“But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” ~ Mark. 10:43-45

He was our perfect example! He washed our feet and commanded us to wash one another’s feet. As ministers of reconciliation – we are nothing more than foot washers. Both physically and spiritually – we are all called to this service of humility and not to think of ourselves as better than any others.

“If I then, your Master and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” ~ John 13:14

“Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” ~ Philippians 2:3

It might be surprising for you to learn that there are no positions or titles in the service of the King and the kingdom. Every one of the “five-fold” ministries are and were always action verbs! The word apostle comes from the Greek word apostolos – which is first used in the “Old” Testament Septuagint – translated 200 years before the Messiah even walked the earth! The Hebrew equivalent is shalach and it means to bring forth a new shoot off the same plant.

In other words – an apostle is planting new assemblies that are rooted and grounded in Y’shua – who is the root of the olive tree (Romans 11:18)! If you are not doing the work of an apostle – then you are not an apostle! In the same respect – if you are not preaching the Good News of the kingdom and calling all men to receive the Messiah through the tri-une regeneration baptism of repentance – then you are not an evangelist! If you are not feeding the flock and protecting them from the devouring wolves – then you are not a pastor / bishop!

Since 2010, my wife and I have served on the mission field of the African continent. Over the years we have observed that everyone in “ministry” has a title and most of these men and women are easily offended if you do not refer to them by their title of position. I personally have never introduced myself by a “title” or “position” – as I am only a servant – and I do not think myself better than any other. I also purposed not to call any man or woman by a title – as they are also called fellow servants by our Master. We are all brothers and sister in the kingdom and everyone has received their gift and calling from Yahweh – so what do any of us have to boast about? That is why I always sign off with Galatians 6:14 in my communications.

“But may it not be so that I should boast, save in the cross of our Master Yahoshua the Messiah, by whom the world [has been put to death on the cross] unto me, and I unto the world.”

Yahweh is not impressed with the size of any man’s bank account or ministry or where he lives or what kind of vehicle he drives – so why should we care either? It is that which will last forever that He is concerned with – not that which is temporary and fading away. If any man thinks he is something because of these external temporary measures – he is greatly deceived!

“For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” ~ Galatians 6:3

Conclusion – Even after all the wealth of evidence which has been presented – there are still those who would argue with what I have written as being inconclusive – as they have been programmed / indoctrinated to believe a certain way and so they are blind and deaf to what has been written and shared (Per – Isa. 42:19-20!). They will use Scriptures they have learned – out of context to try and convince us that this teaching is false.

“Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as Yahweh’s servant? Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.”

Mostly they will try to convince us that the words of Paul are superior to the full counsel of the Scriptures – which comprise the other 95% of Scripture. Further they will even twist the words of Y’shua to make Him appear as though He is contradicting the very words He spoke on Mt. Sinai to Yisrael and the prophet Moses. I have written a commentary on the letter to the assemblies at Galatia – which diligently explains all of the controversial and misunderstood verses in this letter and I highly commend it to you for your edification.

THE ENIGMA OF GALATIANS

As to the words of Y’shua – I believe it is sufficient that I only address the misappropriation of Matthew 5:17-19 for the purposes of this study.

“Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till Heaven and Earth pass, one yod or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:17-19

Firstly – Many Orthodox Jewish rabbis – who have converted to the faith of Y’shua – boldy proclaim that the “New” Testament is a Jewish book in origin and that perhaps as much as fifty percent of what is written is Hebraisms, idiomatic Hebraic speech and classic Hebrew word puns.

In other words, we understand the words we are reading – but we cannot comprehend their deeper intended meaning – simply because we are not Hebrew in our thinking and approach to studying Scripture. E.g. In Zambia, Africa they have a custom during the days of the engagement of a man and woman called – “show me the fire” – when translated to English. If you did not know what these words meant – you might be tempted to think it had something to do with an actual physical flame.

However, that is not the intended meaning at all. It is a ritualistic time of celebration between the families of the groom and bride – as they are coming together to “see” the fire of the romance / love between the intended husband and wife and for the husband and wife to learn the covenant of their new life together. I.e. Their likes and their dislikes!

The words spoken by Y’shua in Matthew 5:17 were a common and well-known idiom in first century Judea. “To destroy the Torah and the Prophets” meant to teach it / preach it incorrectly – leading the people astray. “To fulfill the Torah and the Prophets” meant to teach it / preach it correctly – leading the people in truth. Y’shua was simply proclaiming from the beginning of His ministry that He did not come to lead the people astray – but to fully proclaim to them the Scriptures perfectly!

Strong’s G5055 is the Greek word teleō – which is the word which means completed or fully accomplished. We see this word used twice when Y’shua died on the tree for our sins!

“After this, Y’shua, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.” A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to His mouth. When Y’shua had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished,” and He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” ~ John 19:28-30

Secondly – I would point out that the two witnesses of “the heavens and the earth” in verse 18 are very much still here. Y’shua said “neither the smallest letter of the Hebrew alphabet nor the smallest stroke of the pen would disappear from the Torah until all was fulfilled.” Because the churches today teach all the Torah and the Prophets has been fulfilled when Y’shua came in the flesh – they then argue that the Torah has been done away with.

However, this is not even close to the reality! This is a complete work of fiction! In Leviticus 23 we “discover” the diary of the King. The King has recorded His appointments – which are all “shadows of the good things that are yet to come” – in the Torah He gave to Moses. According to the four Good News accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John – Y’shua died at the Passover, was buried at Unleavened Bread (on the 3rd day of the feast), rose to Heaven at the First Fruits and gave us the Spirit at “Pentecost” (Shavuot).

These are only the first four appointments recorded in the King’s diary. These appointments are not called the appointments of the Jews or the appointments of the Yisraelites – they are called the appointments of the King!

“These are the appointed feasts of Yahweh, the set-apart convocations, which you shall proclaim at the time appointed for them.” ~ Leviticus 23:4

There are still four more appointments on the King’s calendar according to Leviticus 23 – which are yet to be fulfilled! Since Y’shua is forever the same and He does not change (Hebrews 13:8 & Malachai 3:8) – in the same way He fulfilled the first four appointments at the exact appointed time in Jersualem, Yisrael – 30 A.D. – we should expect He will fulfill the last four appointments at the exact appointed time in Jerusalem – when He returns!

If you did not know – the next four appointments are – the Feast of Blowing the Trumpets, the Feast of Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles and the feast of the Last Great Day!

The next appointment is spoken of by the apostle “Paul” in his great dissertation of the power of the resurrection at the rapture of the bride.

“Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.” ~ 1Corinthians 15:51-53

Every year on the Feast of the blowing of the Trumpets (Yom Teruah in Hebrew) – the shofar is blown 100 times. The blowing of the last trumpet is called the Tekiah Gedolah – which is literally “the last trump.” This trumpet blast symbolizes the hope of redemption. It is a very long, final note. It was this last blast of the shofar – which “Paul” was referring to in a common Jewish idiomatic speech of the first century A.D.

Afterward – the next Feast of the King – will be fulfilled at the Feast of Atonement (Yom Kippur in Hebrew) – which is held ten days after the Feast of Trumpets (i.e. the civil new year on the Jubilee calendar of the King called Rosh Hashanah). This feast will be fulfilled when Y’shua sits upon His throne as the rightful King of Yisrael – and He will separate the sheep (Yisrael) from the goats (the nations of the kingdom) as prophesied in Matthew 25:31-46.

Five days later, the Feast of the Tabernacles (Sukkot in Hebrew) will be celebrated for seven days – which is the wedding supper of the Lamb prophesied in Revelation 19:7-9!

“Let us rejoice and exult and give Him the esteem, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”– for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the messenger said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And He said to me, “These are the true words of Elohim.”

On the day after the wedding feast is the Feast of the Last Great Day! Only Yahweh knows in the fullest understanding what will transpire on this day. However, it would seem that this is the very day prophesied in Revelation 20 and 21.

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. From His presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Then I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth, for the first Heaven and the first Earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the set-apart city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of Elohim is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and Elohim Himself will be with them as their Elohim.” ~ Rev. 20:11-21:3

How can any intellectually honest person say that all the Torah and Prophets has been fulfilled – when the overwhelming majority of the messianic prophecies will be fulfilled at His victorious return with His bride! How can any intellectually honest person say the Torah has been fulfilled when only the first half was fulfilled – and the second half is soon to be fulfilled when He comes to reign for a thousand years!

This wonderful revelation changed my life and destiny forever – when I first received it in 2003. Almost everything I was taught about the death, burial and resurrection of Y’shua haMashiach was completely wrong. I had learned many lies from the traditions of men and not the truth of the Scriptures! I published what I “discovered” by the full council of the Scriptures – in the white paper which I titled – The Passover Feast, the Whore and the Beast.

Thirdly – Y’shua taught there is only one sure way to be great in His kingdom and there is only one sure way to be least in His kingdom. Greatness in the kingdom of Yahweh is not determined by how many souls you won, how influential your ministry was, how many miracles happened or how many demons you cast out! Greatness is only determined by fully walking in the light of all the covenant instructions which pertain to you specifically (e.g. not the Levites, the priesthood, the high-priesthood, those living in the land of Yisrael, etc) and teaches other to do the same.

Those who will be called the least in the kingdom are all those who will not heed the instructions given by the King and teach others to do the same. He does not say they will not be in the kingdom. As a matter of fact – He promises they will definitely be in the kingdom – they just will not receive the much greater reward of being the bride and co-ruling with Y’shua!

“But now, thus said Yahweh, your Creator, O Yaʽaqoḇ, and He who formed you, O Yisra’ĕl, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name, you are Mine. “When you pass through the waters, I am with you; and through rivers, they do not overflow you. When you walk through fire, you are not scorched, and a flame does not burn you. “For I am Yahweh your Elohim, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, your Saviour; I gave Mitsrayim (Egypt) for your ransom, Kush and Seḇa in your place. “Since you were precious in My eyes, you have been esteemed, and I have loved you. And I give men in your place, and peoples for your life. “Do not fear, for I am with you. I shall bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. “I shall say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth – all those who are called by My Name, whom I have created, formed, even made for My esteem.” He shall bring out a blind people who have eyes, and deaf ones who have ears.” ~ Isaiah 43:1-8

The Hebraic idiom “blind and deaf” used by the prophet is specifically speaking of those who do not know and obey the Torah and teach others to do so as well. It is speaking of those who will be the children of the kingdom because they refused to grow up into the mature bride who would receive the Groom with all the honor, esteem and praise which He alone deserves.

This is exactly what Y’shua testified to in Matthew 7:21-23

CAN YOU PROVE THE “NEW” COVENANT IS STILL FOR OUR BLESSING AND LIFE TODAY?

First Example ~ “You shall not commit adultery.” ~ Deuteronomy 5:18
At first – this commandment seems to be a negative – however, as we examine the instruction of the covenant more closely – we witness that it is the blessing of Yahweh’s provision and protection through obedience to the instruction!

First – Yahweh wants to provide us with marriages of covenant whom compliment us in every way – to the very one whom He has called to be our closest, most intimate friend and life partner. When we heed the instruction to “not commit adultery” – we are blessed with a relationship of unbroken trust and intimacy.

Second – Yahweh wants to protect us from the many things we do not desire to enter into our lives and marriages. He wants to protect us from broken trust and intimacy with one another and with Him – through a seared conscience. He wants to protect us from unwanted jealous lovers who would seek to harm us or even kill us. He wants to protect us from unwanted pregnancy (and most likely abortion), sexually transmitted diseases and the brokenness of our lives, marriage and families – through separation and divorce – as a likely result of our infidelity.

Question – Is the blessing and life promised to Yisrael almost 3,500 years ago still for the followers of Y’shua today – if they will heed the covenant instruction?

Second Example ~ “Do not eat whatever is abominable.” ~ Deuteronomy 14:3
Yahweh instructs His bride what they are to eat and what not to eat. However, our flesh doesn’t want to be told what to eat and what not to eat. From the beginning – this has been the struggle. Will we choose to eat “life” (i.e. the tree of life) or will we choose to eat death (i.e. the tree of the knowledge of good and evil).

Did you know that every patriarch in Scripture only offered up “clean” animals on the altar of Yahweh? How did they know which animals to sacrifice on the altar and which ones were an abomination to Him? Do you know how many of each kind of animal Yahweh told Noah to bring on the ark? Did you answer two of each – a male and female? If you did, you are 100% incorrect and you would have given the answer the majority of those familiar with the account of Scripture give.

HEAR THE WORD OF YAHWEH!

“Of all the clean beasts take with you seven pairs, a male and his female; and of the beasts that are unclean two, a male and his female; and of birds of the heavens seven pairs, male and female, to keep offspring alive on the face of all the earth.” ~ Genesis 7:2-3

According to Scripture – two of all the “unclean” animals were taken on the ark – however, seven pairs of all the “clean” animals were also taken on the ark.

“Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.” ~ Genesis 9:3

After the world-wide flood, Noah was given a new instruction on behalf of mankind. He was to eat of the animals – even as he ate of the plants. If you and I were to take a walk outside and start eating of every plant we passed by – is it possible that we would get sick and possibly even die? Of course! It is common knowledge that we are to only eat of the plants which are for food and there are many, many more plants in creation which are not producing food for human consumption and are an abomination to our health and life.

In the exact same way – not every single animal is for food for the human body. Every “unclean” animal, bird and creature of the sea – cannot produce cellular energy and health for the human body – as it is scientifically impossible. Many of them will even produce a temporary or long-term sickness and in some cases even death. Only the “clean” animals – which are for food according to Scripture – are scientifically proven to produce cellular energy, life and health for the human body.

Nowhere in the “New” testament was the provision of Yahweh’s perfect diet negated. Christians only believe this to be true because that is what they have been taught by the twisting of the Scriptures to pervert it and take it out of context. If you’ll read the Scriptures in context (not the man-made commentary in your Bible), then you’ll see for yourself that Acts 10 & 11 is not about food at all – but about the “Good News” of the kingdom going out to those from among the gentiles, Romans 14 is about not offending vegetarians (who are weak in the faith) with our liberty to eat “clean” animals, and 1Timothy 4 is also about vegetarianism as a false religious doctrine and comparing to our freedom in Yahweh to eat “clean” animals.

To the Hebrew/Yisraelite/Yahudite of the first century – food was always defined as that which was “clean” and provided by Yahweh for us to eat – according to His covenant provision and protection. “Paul” would have NEVER called a ham sandwich food! Ancient Yisrael knew Yahweh’s dietary instructions was for their blessing – to know His promised blessing and life! They knew it was His provision of excellent health and protection from sickness, disease and even death!

Around the turn of the 20th century, a study was done of three different control groups of approximately 1,000 people each. The first group was made up of people who ate the western diet – which considers many “unclean” animals to be for food. The second group was made up of people who were strict vegetarians. The final group was made up of people who only followed the dietary provisions of the covenant.

THE FOOD LAWS OF YAHWEH

After twenty years, it was proven that those who followed the Scriptural diet had the best overall morbidity and mortality rates – with the fewest side effects. However, that would not be the case today – as most of the “clean” animals sold as food today are commercially produced with a sickening, unnatural diet of grains and animal byproducts and filled with growth hormones, antibiotics, and who knows what else!

Because of man’s greed – even most of the “clean” animals, birds and fishes are no longer food for the human body – and are causing us to be sick with all kinds of cancers, tumors and various diseases. However, a free-range, grass fed cow is rich in omega3 fatty acids which are good for the health of the human heart and brain. I have a friend who is a food and water researcher and scientist, and he informs me that our bodies do not even recognize GMO produce as food. The natural food supply has a simple molecular protein chain of two or three. However, the GMO produce has a simple molecular protein chain that is virtually infinite!

Let us be honest, our flesh loves death! However, Yahweh wants us to love and choose life! The dietary instructions are not about the letter only – no! It is about the spirit of the covenant! It is about cultivating a love for life in our lives, marriages, homes, and assemblies! It is not legalism to “chose life” and choose the blessing! I have written two very short studies about legalism versus love in this regard and I pray with all my heart you’ll read them both and prayerfully consider what I have written.

Yahweh designed the human body and He knows what He designed in His creation to provide us with optimal health and protect us from unwanted disease and an early grave. If you put diesel in a lead-free engine it will die – as you are going against the design of the engine. If you put unclean fuel in an engine it will eventually die. The only way your engine is going to run optimally is if you put the right kind of clean fuel in it. Science has now proven – what is true for your vehicle’s engine – is just as true for your body.

Question – If you will follow Yahweh’s dietary provisions today (by the spirit and not just by the letter that kills) will you experience the blessing of the same abundant life and protection from unwanted diseases and early death as the whole house of Yisrael did – almost 3,500 years ago?

Third Example ~ “You shall not wear cloth of wool and linen mixed together.” ~ Deuteronomy 22:11

Did you know that everything in this present world gives off a frequency of some kind? Some frequencies are much higher than others. Some frequencies are much faster than others. Some frequencies are producing a much higher level of pitch and sound than others. All clothing made from 100% natural fibers give off a life-giving frequency. Linen clothing is made from the flax plant, is impervious to radiation and gives off the highest frequency of all the natural fibers in creation.

Pure linen is the clothing of the priesthood of the tabernacle. When we wear pure linen against our bodies – it produces an invisible forcefield-like layer of protection – which protects the human body from unwanted germs, viruses and bacteria. It also provides for our better over-all health due to the frequency produced when we wear linen. This is true of all clothing made of 100% natural fibers. However, they produce much lower levels of frequency than linen.

Synthetic fibers and mixed fibers do not produce any life-giving frequency and science has now proven that mixing the fibers together cancels out the provision of the life-giving frequency.

Question ~ If we obey the instruction – “not to mix the fibers of our clothing” will we experience the same blessing of Yahweh’s provision and protection for our abundant life and good health and protection from unwanted diseases and possible premature death?
Prayerfully consider the following Scriptures – which were given directly after the “new” covenant was given Yisrael. Believe it or not these prophetic promises were specifically made to us who are alive today! This shouldn’t surprise us as “Paul” instructs us similarly in 1Corinthinas 10:11

“Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.”

As you read – notice how many of the words prophesied are spoken by the apostle “Paul” and consider the context in which they were written to the whole house of Yisrael!

Deuteronomy 30:1 ~ “And when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where Yahweh your Elohim has driven you,
30:2 ~ and return to Yahweh your Elohim, you and your children, and obey His voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul,
30:3 ~ then Yahweh your Elohim will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you, and He will gather you again from all the peoples where Yahweh your Elohim has scattered you.
30:4 ~ If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there Yahweh your Elohim will gather you, and from there He will take you.
30:5 ~ And Yahweh your Elohim will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed, that you may possess it. And He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers.
30:6 ~ And Yahweh your Elohim will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.
30:7 ~ And Yahweh your Elohim will put all these curses on your foes and enemies who persecuted you.
30:8 ~ And you shall again obey the voice of Yahweh and keep all His commandments that I command you today.
30:9 ~ Yahweh your Elohim will make you abundantly prosperous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your cattle and in the fruit of your ground. For Yahweh will again take delight in prospering you, as He took delight in your fathers,
30:10 ~ when you obey the voice of Yahweh your Elohim, to keep His commandments and His statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, when you turn to Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.
30:11 ~ “For this commandment that I command you today is not too hard for you, neither is it far off.
30:12 ~ It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’
30:13 ~ Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’
30:14 ~ But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.
30:15 ~ “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil.
30:16 ~ If you obey the commandments of Yahweh your Elohim that I command you today, by loving Yahweh your Elohim, by walking in His ways, and by keeping His commandments and His statutes and His rules, then you shall live and multiply, and Yahweh your Elohim will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.
30:17 ~ But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other elohim and serve them,
30:18 ~ I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish. You shall not live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess.
30:19 ~ I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,
30:20 ~ loving Yahweh your Elohim, obeying His voice and holding fast to Him, for He is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

A FINAL WORD

In closing, I want to ask you one more question. How come you worship on the first day of the week and not on the 7th day Sabbath – as Yahweh commanded?
The following is taken from the study anti-Messiah unmasked.

In Daniel 7:25 it tells us that the anti-Messiah will think to change the times.

“and think to change times.”

“The times” is the Hebrew word mo’ed (SH4150), I.e, “The Feasts /appointed times of Yahweh” from Way yiqra (Leviticus) 23.

Strong’s H4150 ~ From H3259; properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season; specifically a festival; conventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand): – appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn (-ity), synagogue, (set) time (appointed).

The Papacy throughout the millennia has thought to change the times.

Q. How do men everywhere keep the time(s)?
A. By the calendar!

The calendar in use throughout most of the world today, is the Pope Gregory calendar! It is properly called “The Gregorian Calendar”. The Gregorian calendar is the most widely recognized calendar in the world today. It was first proposed by the Calabrian doctor Aloysius Lilius and decreed by Pope Gregory XIII (after whom it was named) on 24 February 1582 by papal bull Intergravissimas.

From the time of the fall of man, our Heavenly Father has commenced His prophetic calendar of redemption. The Jubilee Calendar! Now, if the pope has a calendar and our Heavenly Father has a calendar, whose calendar do you suppose all of Heaven is going to go by?

In addition, the papacy have by their own word and power exchanged every prophetic feast of Yahweh, as found in Way yiqra (Leviticus) 23, for the pagan feasts of the ancient world – including those originating in Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome – thus fulfilling the prophecy spoken of in Daniel 7:12.

“and the rest of the beasts had their rule taken away. But a lengthening of life was given to them, for a season and a time.”

HEAR THE WORD OF YAHWEH!

“Speak unto the children of Yisrael, and say unto them, [Concerning] the feasts of Yahweh, which ye shall proclaim [to be] set-apart convocations, [even] these [are] My feasts. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day [is] the Sabbath of rest, a set-apart convocation; ye shall do no work [therein]: it [is] the Sabbath of Yahweh in all your dwellings.” (Way yiqra (Leviticus) 23:2-3)

What does the Roman Church have to say concerning the fulfillment of this prophecy?

“The pope has power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ.” – Decretal de Translat, Episcop. Cap

Q. Which feast is the first feast (mo-ed) of Yahweh, according to Way yiqra (Leviticus) 23?
A. The set-apart feast of the weekly, seventh-day Sabbath of Yahweh!

What does the Roman Church say concerning this set-apart feast day?

“The Catholic Church for over one thousand years before the existence of a Protestant, by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday.” – Catholic Mirror, Sept. 23, 1893.

You will notice in the above quotes that the Church declares that it was not Elohim Who changed the day from the Sabbath to Sunday; but that they (the Papists) were the ones who made this change.

The Sabbath was officially changed by the Papacy at the Council of Laodicea on March 7, 364 A.D. That was 43 years after Constantine declared Sunday the day for Messianic believers to honor as a rest day in substitution of the Sabbath.

In the year 321 A.D. – Constantine, yielding to the suggestion of the Roman Church leaders, passed the first Sunday law! Here it is, straight out of the record:

“Let all the judges and town people, and the occupation of all trades rest on the venerable day of the sun” ~ Edict of March 7, 321 A.D. Corpus Juris Civilis Cod., lib. 3, tit. 12, Lex. 3.

“Question: – Have you any other way of proving that the church has power to institute festivals of precept?”
“Answer: – Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her,-she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.” – Rev. Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism, p. 174.

“This quotation emphasizes the fact that since the world accepts Sunday as a day of worship, this acknowledges her supremacy. “I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to anyone who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone. The Bible says, ‘Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day. ‘The Catholic Church says, ‘No; by my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day, and command you to keep holy the first day of the week.’ and lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church.” – Priest Enright, C.S.S.R., Kansas City, Missouri.

There is no question concerning the changing of the Sabbath (from the seventh day of the week) to Sunday (the first day of the week) by the Papacy. You can readily see that there is nothing to be found in the Scripture about changing the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. The Papacy is correct in stating that they changed the day.

“In reply to a letter of October 28, 1895, to Cardinal Gibbons, asking if the church claimed the change of the Sabbath as her mark, the following was received: ‘Of course the Catholic church claims that the change was her act …. And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.’ – C.F. Thomas, Chancellor.”

“The authority of the church could not be bound to the authority of the Scriptures, because the church had changed… the Sabbath to Sunday, not by command of Christ, but by its own authority”. (Cannon and Tradition pg. 263)

“The Church,… after changing the day of rest from the Jewish Sabbath, or Seventh day of the week, to the first, made the third commandment refer to Sunday as the day to be kept holy as the Lord’s day.” (Catholic Encyclopedia Volume 4 pg. 153)

Universal acceptance of Sunday as a premiere day of worship is a definite mark of authority of the Roman Catholic Church. We will soon see, while it is not the “mark of the beast”, it is most certainly a “mark of the beast”. Of this, there is absolutely no question; either in the Word of Elohim or in the pages of history. Are protestant churches aware of these facts? Do they agree that there is no Scriptural authority for honoring Sunday as a set-apart day of the week?

Let us now turn to the various Protestant churches and hear from them.

Presbyterian: “The Christian Sabbath (Sunday) is not in the Scripture, and was not by the primitive church called the Sabbath.” Dwight’s Theology, vol. 4, p. 401.

Congregational: “There is no command in The Scripture requiring us to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath.” Fowler, Mode and Subjects of Baptism.

Lutheran: “The observance of the Lord’s day (Sunday) is founded not on any command of God, but on the authority of the church.”- Augsburg Confession of Faith, quoted in Cox’s Sabbath Manual, p. 287.

Episcopalian: “The festival of Sunday, like all other festivals, was always only a human ordinance, and it was far from the intentions of the apostles to establish a divine command in this respect, far from them and from the early apostolic church, to transfer the laws of the Sabbath to Sunday.” – Neander, The History of the Christian Religion and Church, p. 186, translated by Henry John Rose, B.D. (Philadelphia: James M. Campbell & Co., 1843).

Methodist: “it is true there is no positive command for infant baptism …. Nor is there any for keeping holy the first day of the week.” – Rev. Amos Binney, Theological Compend, pp. 180, 181, 1902 ed.

Baptist: Dr. Edward T. Hiscox, author of The Baptist Manual before a group of ministers, made this candid admission: “There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday. It will be said, however, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week, with all its duties, privileges, and sanctions. Earnestly desiring information on this subject, which I have studied for many years, I ask, Where can the record of such a transaction be found? Not in the New Testament, absolutely not. There is no Scriptural evidence of the change of the Sabbath institution from the seventh to the first day of the week. “Of course,” he continues, “I quite well know that Sunday did come into use in early Christian history as a religious day, as we learn from the Christian fathers and other sources. But what a pity that it comes branded with the mark of Paganism, and christened with the name of the sun god, when adopted and sanctioned by the papal apostasy, and bequeathed as a sacred legacy to Protestantism!” – From a paper read before a New York Ministers’ Conference, held Nov. 13, 1893.

Furthermore, it is an absolutely honest statement that if there had never been a Papal power in the history of the church, we would have never had any of the modern holiday traditions which have all been derived and contrived from paganism and rebranded “Christian”. By the word of the papacy alone, all of “Christendom” celebrates Christmas, New Year’s, Easter and many, many more festivals originating in pagan worship. This is an irrefutable fact which can easily be verified by a plethora of sources.

The feasts of Yahweh were given to us to prophetically reveal the unfolding of His most esteemed plan of salvation and deliverance! Each feast is a Heavenly appointment that Elohim is keeping with mankind. The pagan substitutes / counterfeits speak only of that which has already been fulfilled and do not point not to that which is still yet to come.

For example: The first feast found in Way yiqra (Leviticus) 23 is the Sabbath of Yahweh.
Doctrinally, this feast speaks prophetically of the rest that everyone finds when they come into the saving knowledge of Yahoshua haMaShiach.

At the revelation level, this feast speaks of the rest that all of creation groans for which will be fulfilled at Yahoshua’s 2nd coming (Ibrim (Hebrews) chapters 3 & 4 and Romans 8:19-23). Sunday has zero prophetic significance, as it does not pertains to the fulfillment of any certain future event in Yahweh’s plan of redemption as revealed in His Set-apart feasts.

It is true that it was on the first day of the week when Yahoshua ascended to Heaven; and it was also on the first day of the week when Ruach haChodesh (the Set-apart Spirit) was given and the assembly of Yahweh’s favor was re-born. However, most Messianic believers are shocked to discover that these two specific first days of the week were already being observed as set-apart feasts of Yahweh for more than 1,000 years before Yahoshua ascended and gave us His indwelling Spirit. The commandment to keep them set-apart is found in Way yiqra (Leviticus) 23:11-16.

The first day of the week agrees with the Hebrew number 8, which is the number of Yahoshua haMaShiach and means “all things are made new” or “new beginnings”. Because of the fulfillment of these two set-apart feast days we can:

A.) Go directly to our Father in prayer, in Yahoshua’s Name.
B.) Be baptized by and also filled with Ruach ha Chodesh (the Set-apart Spirit) when we trust in Elohim’s plan alone for our salvation by His favor through faith!
Again we must ask, if Elohim has a calendar and the pope has his calendar, whose calendar do you think Elohim is going to go by? If Elohim has a day set-apart for His people to meet with Him each week and the pope has set-apart his own day each week, whose day do you think Heaven is going to honour? If Yahoshua still has appointments to keep on His annual set-apart days, and the pope has also established appointments to keep on his established, annual holidays, whose days do you think Elohim is going to keep set-apart and regard?

He would think to change the law.

Daniel 7:25d ~ “and think to change laws.”

Men change man-made laws every day. However, only the Papacy has thought to change the laws of Elohim.

At the risk of sounding redundant, we ask the Roman Church to once again tell us in their own words, what exactly do they say concerning the fulfillment of this prophecy?

“The Pope is of so great authority and power that he can modify, explain, or interpret even divine laws. The Pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man but of God, and he acts as vicegerent of God upon earth with most ample power of binding and losing his sheep.”-P.F.L. Ferraris, Ecclesiastical Dictionary, art. On the Pope.

“The pope’s will stands for reason. He can dispense above the law, and of wrong make right by correcting and changing laws.” – Pope Nicholas, Dis. 96.

Isn’t it extraordinary that in every single instance, the Roman Church has admitted to fulfilling each and every prophecy concerning the little horn, based on their very own writings?

The Roman Catholic Church has taught for years that the law was done away with at the cross of Jesus Christ. The proof text for this claim is Colossians 2:14.

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross.”

For more than 1,000 years, the meaning and definition for “the handwriting” was lost, buried and unknown. Only in recent history has the definition been rediscovered through archeological findings. This word is only used once in all of the “New” Testament Scriptures.

Strong’s 5498, Cheirographon – a note of hand or writing in which one acknowledges that money has either been deposited with him or lent to him by another, to be returned at the appointed time.

So, the cheirographon is the original note of indebtedness that is individually owed and obligated by the debtor! According to this verse, it was the debt that I personally owed to Heaven for all of my sin(s) against Elohim, which was nailed to the cross of Calvary!

This corrected understanding is 100% in agreement with the whole counsel of the Scriptures!

Question: Which law(s) was / were done away with at the cross? Was it…

1.) The Ten Words of the Covenant (commonly called the Ten Commandments)?
2.) The Ceremonial Laws?
3.) The Civil Laws?
4.) The Health or Food and Hygienic Laws?

Let’s examine each one individually & separately.

1.) The Ten Words of the Covenant (i.e., The Ten Commandments) – You may search high and low and you will not find a single instance where any denominational or organizational structure of the assemblies of His favor by faith that will testify the Ten Commandments have been done away with or “nailed to the cross”.

2.) The Ceremonial Laws – Yahoshua did not come to do away with the priestly ceremonial and sacrificial laws of the Tabernacle and the Dwelling Place as found in the books of Bereshith (Genesis), Shemoth (Exodus), Way yiqra (Leviticus), Bemidbar (Numbers) and Debarim (Deuteronomy). Yahoshua ha MaShiach came to fulfill the Torah (law) (Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:17)! Yahoshua fulfilled all the provisions of the ceremonial law in and through His death, burial, resurrection and ascension back to Heaven. 3.) The Civil Laws – The civil laws found in the books of the Torah from Bereshith (Genesis) to Debarim (Deuteronomy) pertain to the governing of damages, reparations, restitution; and restoration between family, neighbors and community. I do not think that anyone in their right mind would argue that Yahoshua died so we may live our lives without governing civility in our communities. Every civilization throughout the world has laws that govern damages, reparations, restitution and restoration. This is just common sense. Question: Does anyone believe that Yahoshua came to die on the cross in order to do away with civil law?

4.) The Food and Hygienic Laws – The dietary provisions were given to the people of Elohim in Way yiqra (Leviticus) 11, as a reminder of the dietary provisions already sanctioned by Elohim in Bereshith (Genesis) 6-9. Elohim commanded His people Yisrael to only eat clean foods and not to eat unclean foods. All of “Christendom” has traditionally taught that ever since Brit ha Dashah (erroneously called the New Testament) assemblies were established in the book of Acts, we are free to eat whatever we please. This doctrine comes primarily from the perverse interpretation of Acts 10. For more than 1,000 years, the church has taught this figurative literal teaching by prophetic vision / revelation to the apostle Kepha (Peter) was / is also meant to be understood as a plain literal teaching.

There is not one other instance in all of the Scriptures where the “church” claims a figurative = a literal interpretation of a prophetic vision / dream / revelation and a literal = a literal interpretation! (E.g.: a literal lion with wings (Dan 7:4), a literal four-headed leopard with four wings (Dan 7:6), etc.)

In the 21st century, we finally have the micro science technologies to know what is healthy to eat and what is not. In addition, we now have multiple, controlled, scientific, 20-year studies of groups of people eating differing diets; including vegetarian diet, traditional western diet (where you can eat anything at all that is labeled and marketed as a food); and finally, the Scripturally-defined diet. For the inquiring, open mind it is absolutely undisputed and irrefutable that the Scripturally-defined diet (as given by Elohim), is the superior diet in this sin-cursed, sin-filled and fallen world. It is the only diet without any naturally occurring long-term side effects.

The Food Laws of Yahweh

Question: Why did Elohim give His people the dietary provisions of the Torah?
Answer: Because of His favour!

His benevolent, Fatherly heart loves us and wants the very best for His children. He knew everything pertaining to dietary health sciences over 3,000 years ago at Mt. Sinai; and over 4,000 years ago after the world-wide flood – which our modern sciences are just now beginning to discover. Our Heavenly Father always knew which meats were the most beneficial for our bodies and which ones were poisonous.

Does it make any sense at all to the intellectual mind that Yahoshua came to suffer and die so we could put “unclean” meat in our bodies which is completely adverse to our health and well-being? Is that love? Is that the nature of a benevolent Heavenly Father toward His children?

Without any fear of contradiction, I can say unequivocally that the reason so many in the “church” today consume every deadly, toxic, poisonous and unclean thing in their diet is because of the direct and indirect influence of “thus saith the pope(s)” over the last 1500 + years of history – and not “thus saith the Master Yahoshua ha MaShiach” of the Scriptures!

All of the first century wittings (Brit ha Dashah or New Testament) were written by Torah pursuant men who feared Elohim and believed in Yahoshua as ha MaShiach (the Messiah). To their minds, anything labeled unclean by the authority of the Scriptures would have never been considered food. Rav Shaul (the apostle Paul) reiterated this with all clarity when he wrote to his son Timothy.

“Because every creature of Elohim is good, and none is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is set apart by the Word of Elohim and prayer.” (1Timothy 4:4-5)

Q: Where, in the full counsel of the writ of the Set-Apart Scriptures is meat set apart for man’s consumption?
A: In Yahweh’s Torah! Bereshith (Genesis) 6-9 and Way yiqra (Leviticus) 11.

Most believers never stop to consider that Noah knew what animals were for meat and which animals were not for meat, because of how many of each that he brought with him on the ark. Yahweh told him to only bring two of each of the unclean animals (a male and a female) and fourteen of each of the clean ones (seven pairs of males and females) (Bereshith (Genesis) 7:2). If Noah or his family had eaten a pig, a dog or a cat when they came down off the ark – there would be no pigs, dogs or cats in the world today! It takes two to tango the last time I checked!

If you will take the time to read the context of 1Timothy 4:4-5, you will readily see the apostle was refuting the devilish doctrines of Gnostic vegetarianism. He most definitely was not making a Halacha (righteous / just) ruling that any and all meat was now considered acceptable for dietary consumption.

A very good rule of thumb for studying and understanding Brit ha Dashah (erroneously called the New Testament) is, “There is nothing new, only True!” If you disagree with this statement, then please let me know in specific communication and I will be glad to further explore this topic with you.

If you will carefully study all of the hygienic commandments found in the Creator’s Torah, then you will soon discover that all modern scientific findings and sound hygienic principle(s) apply to each one of these ancient provisions as well. Yahweh gave us all of the Torah for good hygiene out of His Fatherly heart to protect us from harmful microbiological bacteria, viruses and germs; and to provide for us abiding good health through safe and sanitary health practices.

Once again, sound health sciences are finally catching up with the Scriptures.

Q. If Yahoshua came to pay the debt I owe for my sin and not to do away with the law, then how come much of the Torah has been done away with by most of the assemblies of Elohim?
A. If you will turn to any catechism published by the Church of Rome, you will soon discover that the Ten Words of the Covenant (i.e. the Ten Commandments) have been changed. The second commandment has been completely removed. This is the commandment which states, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image”. But you will also quickly note that they still have a total of Ten Commandments. This was accomplished by dividing the last commandment, and then making two different commandments out of it. Again, we see that the predictions of Elohim are fulfilled in the little horn of Daniel 7.

Ps. ~ This is true of the Lutheran Catechism also, which was passed down directly from the Papacy!

Q. Now why in the world would the Papacy want to do away with the second commandment?
A. I appreciate the candid admission of Cardinal Newman in his book, Development of Christian Doctrine, in which he notes the origin of the doctrines of the Catholic Church by saying:

“Confiding then in the power of Christianity to resist the infection of evil, and to transmute the very instruments and appendages of demon-worship to an evangelical use …. the rulers of the Church … were prepared … to adopt, or imitate, or sanction the existing rites and customs of the populace, as well as the philosophy of the educated class.”

We are told … by Eusebius, that Constantine, in order to recommend the new religion to the heathen, transferred into it the outward ornaments to which they had been accustomed in their own. … The use of temples, and these dedicated to particular saints, and ornamented on occasions with branches of trees; incense, lamps and candles; votive offerings on recovery from illness; holy water; asylums; holy days and seasons, use of calendars, processions, blessings on the fields; sacerdotal vestments, the tonsure (shaving of the head), the ring in marriage, turning to the East, images at a later date, perhaps the ecclesiastical chant … are all of pagan origin, and sanctified by their adoption into the Church.” – Pages 371-373.

Time and time again, I have met a variety of pagans in their different guises of witchcraft, wicca, sorcery, etc. I have personally asked a good many of them if it was their belief that “Christendom” had adopted pagan beliefs, traditions and holidays to make it easier for the pagan world to make the conversion to the Christian religion. Invariably, they enthusiastically agree that this is what they believe to be true.

Next, I would ask them if they had ever considered that just maybe the Messianic faith was the true faith of the living Elohim of heaven and earth. Therefore, haSatan and the demons of hell used the Roman emperors to try to destroy all the assemblies of faith by issuing an edict of death to all followers of Yahoshua haMashiach. Ten different edicts were issued during the first 300 years of the history of the renewed covenant assemblies. Each edict made it a crime to be a follower of Yahoshua ha MaShiach, punishable by death upon the testimony of two witnesses.

HaSatan and his host soon found out that they could not destroy the assemblies of Yahweh’s favour by direct assault; and it was also the case that the more the assemblies were persecuted, the more they multiplied like rabbits! They had to try another approach to destroy Elohim’s called-out ones. In a stroke of genius, they gave a demonic vision to Constantine – who, through the course of time, successfully married paganism and the Messianic belief more than any other “church father” before him.

Constantine made his pagan brand of “Messianic faith” the official religion of Rome, and gave Messianic believers everywhere a much-desired reprieve from persecution unto death. Thus, paganism came in like a flood, and greatly diluted the true faith and power of the assemblies of the Elohim of Heaven and Earth, thus fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel 12:7.

“And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, and he held up his right hand and his left hand to the heavens, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it would be for a time, times, and half a time. And when they have ended scattering the power of the set-apart people, then all these shall be completed.”

Next, I would ask the pagan if they ever considered this as a possibility for the real reason “Christians” are so pagan in their beliefs, traditions and holiday celebrations. Of course, the answer is always, “No!” I then assure them that this is because they are pagan. The Scripture teaches us that the pagan mind cannot know the truth!

1Corinthian 2:14 ~ “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Elohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.”

Consider the following quote from a very well-known authority on the Wiccan (pagan) religion:

“As we grew up we questioned the religious beliefs of our parents and eventually many of us found our way back to the old gods and the old religion. Some of the most wonderful traditions practiced by our parents and grandparents are purely Pagan in origin. So go ahead and celebrate the customs of your childhood. Send Valentines, dye Eostre’s (Easter) eggs, bring a fir tree into your house and decorate it with ornaments that came down in the family, and know that in your Pagan heart that what you do is a traditional way of honoring the Old Pagan gods. And when someone says to you, “I thought you were a Pagan. Why do you have a Christmas tree in your house?” You can look them straight in the face and say, “Because it’s a Pagan tradition – WHY DO YOU?” – Ancient Ways: Reclaiming Pagan Traditions (pg 220) By Pauline Campanelli

As amazing as all of this is to consider, it is even more amazing to consider a far more important law of Elohim which the Papacy has always sought to change. Throughout the ages, they have tried to abolish the true law of salvation by faith through the favour of Elohim alone and replace it with their own law of salvation by the religious works of the Roman Catholic Church. The Papacy has always affirmed that there is no means of salvation except through the Roman Catholic Church!

Finally, as a fail safe that the pope’s authority would stand above all else, it was necessary for the Papacy to outlaw the very book which exposes every lie of the popes. Thus, war was declared on the Scriptures by the papal authorities all throughout their reign – even up until the modern era.

Once more, we will hear from the Roman Church in its own words:

In the Council of Toulouse, the church leaders ruled: “We prohibit laymen possessing copies of the Old and New Testament . . . We forbid them most severely to have the above books in the popular vernacular.” “The lords of the districts shall carefully seek out the heretics in dwellings, hovels, and forests, and even their underground retreats shall be entirely wiped out.” Concil Tolosanum, Pope Gregory IX, Anno. Chr. 1229.

The church Council of Tarragona ruled that: “No one may possess the books of the Old and New Testaments in the Romance language, and if anyone possesses them he must turn them over to the local bishop within eight days after the promulgation of this decree, so that they may be burned.” D. Lortsch, Histoire de la Bible en France, 1910, p.14

After the Bible societies were formed, they were classed with Communism in an amazing decree:

On December 8, l866, Pope Pius IX, in his encyclical Quanta Cura issued the following statement: “Socialism, Communism, clandestine societies, Bible societies . . . pests of this sort must be destroyed by all means.”

Now that you know the truth – who are you going follow? Are you going to continue to follow the pope – who is the very anti-Messiah of the Scriptures or are you going to follow the Messiah who gave His life for you and bought you with His own shed blood?

Shalom man of God. Much thanks for this writing; it’s inspiring and a blessing.

However there are two issues you may want to consider. U wrote:

The New Covenant is clearly stated in Luke 22:19-20: This Cup is the New Testament in my Blood, which is shed for you.

It is further restated in I Cor. 11:25: This Cup is the New Testament in my Blood;

The Law was given by Moses; Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ. Joh.1:17. Moses mandate and ToR were clear. And he foretold his country people that Yahweh Elohim will raise up a Prophet like unto himself, and they had better listen to Him.

Grace and Truth is the New Testament in the Blood of Jesus Christ. U said it, the Covenants are a marriage agreement. The NT does not contain dos and don’ts. It’s operated by the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus – which sets us free from the dos and don’ts Law of Sin and Death. Jesus Christ fulfilled the 613 articles of the Torah, which were against us, and nailed them to His Cross. Case closed!

That the NT was prefigured all the way back in Eden when Elohim shed blood and clothed Adam and Eve in skins is true. But that the real deal happened after John the Baptist pointed out Jesus to the High Priest and Jewish leaders: ‘Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!’ And they took him away and sacrificed Him on the Cross at Calvary; then and only then did the New Testament in Christ’s Blood kick in, followed shortly by the Promise of the Father – the holy Spirit- when the day of Pentecost was fully come!

But for the above views, I otherwise enjoyed your flow – as usual.

  Shalom, shalom Anthony! The “New” covenant spoken of by Y’shua is the Hebrew word chadesh. It is the root word of chodosh – which is translated month. Every month there is a rosh chodosh or head of the month – which is usually translated new moon or new month. Obviously, the moon is never brand new and neither is the month. Both the moon and the month have been in existence since the very beginning! Both are only new by usage of the recipients.
  
  Every covenant – whether a covenant made between men or a covenant made between man and Yahweh / Y’shua has been written down somewhere. Even the wedding vows between a Jewish man and woman were always written down in a document called a “ketubah”. Every relationship on earth and in Heaven has rules. Every marriage has rules. Every home has rules. While a relationship without rules seem ideal – it is not. I have never met anyone in my life who has any relationship with any other person – apart from governing rules to that relationship and neither have you.
  
  A relationship without rules is just as meaningless as rules without a relationship. Both are required for their to be any depth of meaning and purpose to the relationship. Grace and truth are from the beginning – as Y’shua was before Moses! He is the beginning (and the end). His ministry did not start with John 1:1! His ministry began to be revealed from Genesis 1:1! His grace and truth were always revealed from the beginning and most specifically declared in Exodus 33:11-23.
  
  If the cross is really the completion of all things – then wouldn’t the resurrection be adding to the finished work? What about the pouring out of the Spirit in Acts 2 – is that adding to the finished work? What about the fulfillment of the great commission is that adding to the work?
  
  If the blessings found through obedience are still for today – then should we disobey the commands so that we may be cursed? Your logic is simply illogical – however, it sadly most understandable – as that is what Christianity teaches and believes!
